I just love how Hoyo never forgets about their "old" characters. They could just make promos with new characters, but they still go back to Mondstadt and Liyue.
And then there’s just Childe, the singular Shneznyan character jamming out on his electric guitar 💀🤣
More like old characters are more immediately recognizable and iconic to the player base, so its only logical to feature them over newer characters in promos…

Honestly, all of these instruments and roles fit the characters so well. Zhongli as a conductor feels perfect, Childe as a guitarist is very fitting for his personality and Diona with her little triangle is adorable.
Everyone has a role befitting them and I love it.

@@pekocola7205 her instrument adds a powerful kick to the music, which I think suits her well since she stands out pretty well amongst other genshin characters. An example of this is best seen with her signature dish since it’s the only four star dish out of all the characters so far.
There’s also her role as a captain which is an inherently important and exclusive job.
@@pekocola7205she's an incredibly strong and sometimes overbearing individual, yet lends her ceaseless care and support to those she cares for. The drums essentially support the rhythm so the others can shine. They thump away and deliver a powerful sound on their own, yet those low notes make the mid and high notes of the rest sparkle so much brighter. So, I'd say, it makes quite alot of sense to me at least.
@@pekocola7205she's a dancer so I'd imagine she has a very good grasp of rhythm and staying on beat. She's also incredibly strong but also has her vulnerable moments, perfect for a bass drum.

The piccolo on Albedo is everything!!! Weirdly, it matches him so well. Wasn't expecting Xiao on the flute, but it's definitely a nice surprise. Playing something delicate with his personality is just ironic perfection.
Xiao plays on the flute because when he first met Venti, he played on the flute, which calms Xiao. It's a nice touch
Plus its said that hes connected to the dihua flute and we can hear a flute sound at the beginning of his demo
Xiao's character was originally going to have an animation where he plays a flute, but they scrapped it and incorporated the flute aspect into other parts of his story.

@@saiyannayan a video (usually more than 1 hour) featuring lots of different soundtracks from different regions. The concert is performed by an orchestra group and different bands as well.

For those who never satisfied with genshin concert, they trully don't deserve this masterpiece. I got goosebump every time genshin concert and always waiting the concert each year. Genshin musics are otherworldly amazing!

okay but the details?!?! we got iridescent sparkles on eula's nails and dress to _reflections on diona's shoes_ and even detailed finger movements for instrument playing like whoever hoyo has in-house/contracted for this animated PV is just incredible!! also really beautiful to see cultural instruments be represented as well as overall character aesthetics that really suit everyone's personalities (aka looking at childe rocking out 1:08). such a cool promo for what will def be an amazing genshin concert!

Using Lantern Rite theme song at the end combine with Liyue Harbor morning theme is a delight to the ears. Ganyu, Childe, Eula, Albedo, Xiao, Diona, and Zhongli... they all stole the spotlight.

Everything about this video... is... FIRE! My precious Ganyu looks radiant; Zhongli, Xiao, Albedo, and Tartar look so handsome; Diona is adorable, and; Eula's nice. It's so cool to see how far they've come with their animation. miHoYo y u no release these outfits in game?!?! Ganuy's dress emanates and presents her with the elegance and grace she so deserves!

Also these outfits would be hell to animate in 3D and would definitely clip into limbs etc. That is why we don't have stuff like this for playable characters (the girls at least, boys seem to be wearing suits which could work but it would be unfair for the girls not getting anything).

I don't know how to 3D animate, but from my novice perspective, I don't understand how those outfits would be any more difficult to put in the game than the ones some of the characters already wear. For instance, Kokomi's outfit is very flowy and has the potential for clipping. Hers and Ei's sleeves alone could clip since they're so long, and any of the characters wearing coats off their shoulders could have clipping issues as well. And if we look at upcoming characters, Navia's outfit is pretty fluffy and flowy, creating the possibility for clipping issues. However, they're still including her in the game with that clothing style.
Again, I don't know much about animation, but I'm not seeing how the female characters' outfits would be harder to make than the current attire for the characters. 🤔

If it wasn't for the limited time events that never comes back which contains lots of good and important story content + characters developments and personalities that are absent from the main quests, I would have agreed.
OMG I got goosebumps from watching this! I know it's a promo for concert, but I just cant wait for Mihoyo to release GI anime. If the level of animation will be like this, I'll literally explode from happiness when it will be out.

@@deathrowShorty i guess it all boils down to studio; money and time. Ufotable has control of the standard, but Mihoyo will still have to determine how much they are willing to pay the studio and the timeframe they give them. Hopefully both parties can come to a mutual understanding about what is needed to produce a beautiful product. Fingers crossed
