    Interesting that near the end Lola makes a reference to re-shooting part of "Red Dust" because of the Hays Office. Jean in real life appeared in a movie called "Red Dust". What might be called self-reference here reminds me of the scene in "The Misfits" in which Marilyn Monroe stands next to girlie pictures pinned to a door and says something like, "Gay put them up for a joke". Marilyn Monroe was standing next to pictures of herself from earlier in her career, including one with the billowing skirt in "The Seven Year Itch".

      @@feralbluee It's worse now, when actors are not even ten years older than one another, and one of them are made appear like the youthful parents or grandpas of the other.
