Hi Thanks. To be honest,I find Menorca is becoming year after year overcrowded (my first times were back in the beginning of 2000 years) Now,more and more people visit this so small island. I never go anymore to macarella or macarellita because these calas are ridiculously full of people even in june or september. Turqueta with the line of public buses is a kind of public park of Ciutadella. In july or August,I think I would prefer to try some almost unspoiled greek islands.

Well picture taken the 15 September 2008 at 2pm.... I didn't notice this change...So bad...Definitly,it was better before!! The same has happened at cala turqueta.....and also at cala talaier and in many other calas. Turqueta has become the Citadella's public garden with public buses. Boats are bringing,even in october,dozen of lazy tourists in turqueta or Treballuger. Mass tourism and World Culture Globalization have killed this paradise. The same happened in Croatia (Brac,Kortula,Sibenik...) or on the East german Balic coast. Back in the end of the 90's,it was so great places with a special feel. From paradise to the worst of the tourism world. Not a great fan of the Europe we let to our children...
