  • After roughly 20 hours of run time I perform a quick review of the Power King stump grinder and tackle a pine stump on a hill.

Good vid, I got one on the way. Ordered the greenteeth conversion for it too. I would have taken the top 10 inches off that stump with a chainsaw maybe.

Thank you! My chainsaw blade was dull and I didn't feel like sharpening before the vid, but I do agree with you. I just did a 6 foot diameter fresh cut oak stump.. took me 6 plus hours, I sure did cut as much off with my chainsaw that time prior.

Thanks for the video! BTW, I believe the manual says to only tow offroad at low speed.

Technique mate, snip roots each end, lift out, dont work uphill, your body will thank you for it😊

You have the name right for your business. Sturdy Guy stump grinding. I have the pk803eh and I had no idea of what bad physical shape I was in until I used it. 😳🤣

If you didn't already get the green teeth for this you need to.. I have the same unit I thought it worked great with the factory teeth. Which it did but the green teeth are way better. They cut better last longer and have 3 cutting sides if dulls just rotate.. and they can be sharpened

Agreed!! I didnt want to spend the money till I killed the 2 sets it came with.. I dig the sweat equity. But no doubt it would be a quicker gig!!

How long did it take you to do the stump?

I'd imagine any small engine repair shop where you'd take a mower or snowblower

Any local true value, or ace hardware would tune it up. It is easy enough to work on that you should attempt to play with it at the price point of this machine.

100% I just did a 6 foot fresh cut oak tree.. Took me 6 hours but it did the job and was able to handle it. I have done well over 25 stumps with this guy. Just keep it greased and check loose bolts and belts.

@@sanctuarybushcraft9309 What locations do you suggest to keep greased? Obviously, the grinding wheel bearings need it. Anywhere else?

@@scgriswold67did you ever find out the answer to your question? I just picked up a similar machine!

That was painful to watch. At that pace it would take you 10 days and 30 tanks of gas.

Instead of trying to grind the roots cut off at the stump and again where it disappears back into the ground. The just pick it up and throw away
