Got mine yesterday. Arrived well packed. Went together very easy after watching this video. Back wheel was almost perfectly true. Front wheel is a lot out of true. Bought a spoke wrench off amazon and will learn how to do truing myself. This is a great value bike with quality hardware.
Hello there! You can learn to true your wheel using our "How To True A Bike Wheel" video. czcams.com/video/W4avkbo63Q8/video.html. Let us know if you have any questions!
@@VilanoBikes Got the front wheel trued after watching your video and a couple others. Surprised it was so easy. This shadow rocks now. The last derailleur (10 speed) bike I had was back in the 1970's as a teenager. Obviously no youtube back then so I was really riding an unsafe bike for years, without even realizing it. 😄 thx for bike and videos!
Loving the lots of new content guys, watched this even though my Shadow is already assembled and done 700 miles (and several Strava segment top tens), but I see that I should check and adjust the brakes for cable stretch sure, lol. thanks Drew
I need to check the tightness of the allen screw that holds the crank stuff together on the drive side. What metric size range folding allen key set should I buy, that will fit all the allen bolts on my bike? Thanks.
Assembly went well but am I the only one struggling with the front/rear reflectors not fitting on right? Rear: the clamp doesn't wrap around the seat tube enough for me to tighten the screw. I've had to bend it and it still won't reach. Am I missing something?
Hi Eric, emailing us will be much easier as we need a pic to see what's going on. We'll be happy to help. Our email is: customercare@vilanobikes.com thank you.
It should be in the parts box that holds the reflectors. If it's not there, fill this out and include a copy of your invoice from purchase so we can help. www.vilanobikes.com/pages/warranty-registration . If this is not a new bike, you can find a skewer online easily.

The bolt sizes on cranks are 5 and 6 mm, which most folding Allen key sets have along with a 4mm Allen.
How many teeth on chain rings and rear cassette?
crank: 34/50 tooth rings, freewheel: 14/16/18/20/22/24/28
