Alejandro never got what he wanted because his brother always got it first, so when he got Heather, he was willing to lose. But Heather's the opposite; she's used to getting what she wants and thus wouldn't give up the money (which also explains their individual reactions at the end of TDAS).

I kept remembering how Alejandro was always mentioning how much better his brother was than him, and how he was genuinely pleased to see Heather liked him (he said in episode 1 no one knew anything about him, and he wanted to keep it that way; this could imply he didn't want anyone to meet Jose and make him look inferior), while Heather bragged about how she made people fear her, and her parents were throwing her stuff out and partying while she was on TDI. Heather was born evil (with good moments) Alejandro was made evil (with good moments).
Wouldn't say that. Most of the time his team was pulling him down or he would lose because he already tought he won(like Greece or the final), sometimes he would lose so they would think he is not that strong, but he didn't want to lose because of psychology

Unpopular opinion: Alejandro gets more hate them he deserves, yeah he uses his looks to his advantage, but it's not like Heather doesn't. He is a clone to Heather, that's the point, he's the new guy, Heather already lost everyone's trust, Alejandro is basically "new Heather" that's what's so brilliant, Alejandro can put on the nice guy facade, and get away with whatever he wants like he said "no one knows a thing about me" which makes him the PERFECT antagonist for this season, it's the season with Heather's redemption arc. Alejandro is a GREAT villain and was perfect for World Tour.

You know the fact in S1 Heather arrived with shades on is a signature villain trope that Alejandro also had, in Episode 1 of S3 which also involved him being introduced wearing shades. Which is a REALLY clever detail no one noticed since both of them are also VILLAINS of those seasons, also the two are SHIPPED #Aleheather❤
That’s a good point. I also noticed that in world tours Amazon episode, They both have an injured right eye. Alejandro’s is covered with an eyepatch, Heather’s is open and exposed. (Could be symbolic)

Actually, there were a lot of cons
- the Amazon Team (in the first part, what happened after the Boyfriend Kissing Scene was a pure mess
- Duncan playing in Alejandro's game (and being a hard challenge for him most of the time)
- Noah roasting everyone
- lot of different challenges and location
- the fact that you didn't know untill the end which type of challenge it is (reward or elimination)
- songs (I thought it sucks at first, but now I want some of these on my phone xD)
- Aftermath episodes didn't suck
- no more Sadie, Katie and Beth

Alejandro may have had strategy and the advantage of being able to get everyone on his side, but Heather knew how to stick to her priorities and get what she wants no matter what she has to do, who she has to hurt or how much she has to act in order to achieve it. No matter how much she grew as a character she was always ready to completely drop it just to get the money, and that’s why she was the original and overpowered Alejandro. She knew she was mean but more importantly she knew *how* to be mean and use it as a tool to excel.
