I've thrown away brass b/c of this. Never even considered trying to drop into the check backwards. Great tip!!

I was having about 5 out of 50 reloads sitting proud in the block. Didn't know why until I watched your post. The ejector did indeed leave a burr on the rim just like you pointed out. Problem solved! Thank you for sharing the knowledge. 👍👍

Tumbling your brass will solve THAT problem, and others. Just sayin

With pins, but it hasn't worked for me using crushed walnut shell.

i just let the cat lick mine. Her tongue is rougher than any brass case. Good Kitty!

You know, maybe if you just give your brass a good wet Tumble, it'll smooth them all out equally 😉

Mine seem to be catching in the middle. So they won't quit go all the way into the gauge. I've checked all my dimensions against the reloading data and also my other rounds that drop into the case gauge freely. The dimensions seem fine. I can see a very slight wear ring around where the base of the bullet sits inside the case. I have no idea what is causing this to happen.

Why does the checker say 44amg/special instead of 44mag?
