How to Unlock Khvostov 7G-0X in Destiny 2 The Final Shape

- The Khvostov is back in Destiny 2 and for the most part, the auto rifle hasn't changed much from its original days in Destiny. However, the Exotic Khvostov 7G-0X variant can't be earned right away. To get it, you will first need to get the Legendary variant after the main campaign, which is a pretty time-consuming endeavor.

man that cyst 4 was something else. I never knew I had such a hatred for the moths
If you're having trouble getting the light mote from the meatball and you're playing Hunter use Storm's edge and repeatedly throw your knife into the boss as it dies and if it's just right you'll get it.
You can stash the motes and then go and do the bosses needed again. Did this to get my 16th.
I missed the first encryption bit is there a way to go back and get it?
I understand people having 16 and missing the meatball boss mote. But i have only 15? Done all bosses (except meatball) and got all traveller orbs?
Ok… so I didn’t do any of the bits and I’ve done the Micah 10 quests and progressed through the chests. I’ve healed like 3 ghosts, am I fucked or can I still get the gun?
Sigh. I have 15. Thank god I didn’t get the meatball boss and it take mine away. I wonder when it’ll be fixed.
June 11th should be fixed with the reset.
I have 16 motes. I can’t find number 17. I checked my triumphs and I have all cysts., all traveler balls, all 9 bosses killed. Any idea as to y I have 16 mites if light?
@tonyn2524 yea... the meat ball boss has been an issue, and they took it out of the game temporarily. Even if you killed him as did I.. he wouldnt drop one and or would consume (make your motes disappear) so devs responded to this issue and it will be fixed in a future update. Unfortunately, it wasn't fixed, with the most recent being today.

In the "lava cyst" at 5:04 there is no crack in the wall for me 😱. What the heck. Was this changed??? I can see the roots on the ground, but there seems to be a piece of rock wall where the entrance should be.
They made a cut in the video and it makes it look like it's on the left side, because they walk back to it. If you're jumping down there after killing the boss, it's on your RIGHT side at 5:02.

It been removed because it’s bugged. They are working on a fix.

I didn’t grab the one for the sword one, and now it is the moth one. What do I do?
Same thing with me. U just gotta go back do it again. U don’t have to beat the whole Cyst just grab the item and dip. Mine just randomly started showing the 3 Cyst’s so I could select it.
You can do the quests called Alone in the Dark endlessly.

Thanks for your video. I just need ONE more Mote Of Light. I've killed two Level 4 Bosses with NO MOTE? Sooo...a grinding I will gooo lol i.e. To be clear...this quests has been a pain in the A$$ !!! Bungie loves to make us grind. I don't always mind it, unless it's senseless, and really unnecessary.

Ya the meatball took all my motes and now I’m unable to get motes of light to get it before they disabled the boss
You cant get the exotic tho they removed the meatball
if you already beat that boss and got its mote you can go and do the other motes if you just started tho you will need for them to re activate the boss after they fix the bug

What zone does the meat ball Come from I got 16/17 and the triumphs day I got them all, but I deff never fought the meat ball, I know it's bugged right now
