Greetings my brother, you're really doing a great job in promoting our Odinali and I appreciate that alot, keep it up. Pls what are the natural Efficacies, potentials, Characteristics, and benefits of using Ngwu Tree for personal/Home woodcrafts such as hand Staffs, Royal Chairs, Wall arts, Sculptures, Side Stools, Tables. drinking Cup, etc? I love art somuch, have many woodworks, being Oke Ngwu myself I decided to replace 70% of my palour funiture with crafted Ngwu tree😀 So bro, whats your opinion pls? Thanks.
Ngwu symbolises warrior strength. Remember, oji mma egbu Ngwu mma anaghi adi ya nko. In some parts of Igbo communities their warriors were fortified at Ngwu trees before they set off for battles. However, Ngwu can also symbolise many things to different families, eg, protection. I do not have any opinion about your desires to resort to Ngwu. However, whatever thing you decide to do, you the initiator must know why you are doing it especially if it has spiritual conotations. Finally, deal with wood carvers who are adept in Igbo Odinani. In that way you will not bring in wrong forces into your place in the name furniture.
@@tobeosigwe6171 Thanks for your prompt response bro, Any more information i can get about Ngwu wood will be helpful. my wood carver is Emma Nwankwo (zaki) who always telling me about you 😊. thanks

You know English can be deceptive. Igbos categorised all as Muo. Muo is simply forces we cannot see or touch. If you look at the two words from the perspective of the Igbos there is no difference save for when you now want to be specific on the type of Muo. For example, is it Muo nwoke or muo nwanyi. Also, the functionality of the Muo makes an Muo different from another Muo.

I don’t think using the word “ worship” for anything other than Chukwu Okike Abiama is appropriate. We only worship the isi Mmuo, then acknowledge and venerate the deities. That’s just my thoughts.
You are mistaken my dear. Igbos never worshipped Chukwu. There is no altar erected in the name of Chukwu all over Igboland. However, there are several altars erected for deities, gods, goddesses and ancestors all over Ala Igbo. What this means is that Igbos never worshipped Chukwu. Some, not even all, merely acknowledged the existence of Chukwu. Igbo religion is polytheism. It is the worship of many gods. This emphasis on Chukwuokike is a modern day thing in Igbo land. It started with some Igbos trying to prove that they also worshipped the creator just like the Christians. No. There is no truth in such claim. Igbos did not worship Chukwu. There is no evidence to back up such claims.
@@tobeosigwe6171 wisdom is in you bro... The concept of chukwu is new and started during the aro and eri hegemony in igboland. Ala is the most powerful deity in igboland

Iroko is not an Igbo word. The tree you refer to as Iroko is likely what we call Oji Okeosisi.
