    Thanks a lot for this video! I just changed mine today. Feels empowering not paying out the bootyhole at a shop with the added benefit of gaining a better understanding of basic auto mechanics, not having to make an appointment, not waiting all day and not having to tip anyone.
    Your video was very clear easy to follow along. I think it would have been best to include the part where you actually extract the spark plus, showing what tool or tool you used - that angle is no joke. Thank you again!

    Thanks for the vid mate I'm doing a lot of maintenance tmr given I'm at 60k and it's about time and I'm just glad everything maintenance wise on the Cruze is so easy and simple

    I'd definitely recommend a wobble extension or a universal joint especially for the spark plug that's at the very end towards the drivers side of the engine. The angle of how the plugs go into the engine and the intake/exhaust cover being right to the edge of the recess.The others come out fine with a regular extension but those will make it a bit easier.

    When you checked the gap on the plugs, were they correct right out of the box, or did you adjust them?

    • @stevencourtney1965

    I have a couple of questions. Do you have to disconnect the battery at all when changing the spark plugs ? And would I have to disconnect my battery if changing the ignition coils?

    • @stevencourtney1965

      A t30 screw bit
      3/8 wrench with a 10mm socket or drill with socket holder
      Needle nose players to get the sockets out
      3/8 wrench with 5/8 socket or if doesn't work then a long 14mm socket

    • @stevencourtney1965

      Hello, if im not mistaken I used a 14mm deep well socket, my cruze is a 2018, just take your time puttingin the socket if it doesn'thave the rubber piece inside, I used a regular socket, some other sizes are 5/8 and 13/16 for spark plugs, not positive if all makes of the cruze are the same, good luck.

    • @stevencourtney1965
      @stevencourtney1965  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi, the grease cover, do you mean the oil cap, where yiu put the oil in, and do you have a gas engine or diesel engine, if its diesel then that's correct oil to put in 5w30, gas engine is 0w20, I use valvoline full synthetic, good luck.
