Like others, came for the NUX (now ordered), but loved the playing and the fun you were having man, subscribed.
That Revstar sounds awesome too.
Came here for the review of the Nux. Came away blown away by your guitar playing 🔥
Playin guitar's like ringin the bell...
Nice work
Thanks!
I found you few weeks ago😊👍love your attitude, and you are amazing player😊👍
Thanks so much!
@@JayLeonardJ can you plug the nux headphone out into aux in of a stereo system with speaker's? Using either a 1 pin to 1 pin cord or 1 to 2 pin rca audio jack for playing out loud?
Also can you have noise gate, auto wah, compressor, distortion, flanger, reverb and delay on at the same time as a signal chain into an amp / cab sim of your choice?
That video cracked me up. You are such a skillful guitarist. Made it really enjoyable to watch and I'm going to buy one of those Mighty plugs
Thanks!
Nice vid! I own a Mighty Plug and THR10ii, best combination for home playing and on-the-go playing :)
So glad to see I'm not the only one cutting bass like it's a fish Shop.
This guys playing is seriously impressive. I have already ordered this unit it looks fantastic.
And how do you like it?
@@gosman949 It works really well. I love it. I would recommend it 100%. The only improvement in the future would be to make it bluetooth.
@@gosman949Its super easy to navigate and use. Its exactly like the video. I have to unplug the unit from my guitar after each use or the battery goes dead. I have active pickups. Im not sure about regular pickups.
You can play thru your computer as well just like he is doing. Its great.
Came for the review - stayed for the gnarly faces! Keep it up!
This vid is so amazing! Great review. I am translating the Mighty Plug Manual to Spanish for NUX and I just got curious about it.
Man, looks like you're having so much fun with this! Great playing, cool device.
Pronounced “new ex.” The arrow in the logo is essentially a hyphen. Nu-X. Their Atlantic pedal is fantastic!!
Thanks, I had a feeling I was saying it wrong!
It would have helped if they used a hyphen. 😉
.......and this is the video that got me to pull the trigger on the thing. It's arriving on Sunday, thanks a lot Jay ☺️
Nice demo,..complimented by some very cool improvised playing!
Thanks a lot :)
Wow what a guitarist
Thanks :)
I was impressed more with the tone specific pickups you were using. Amazing sounds!
Thanks, we spend a TON of time getting them perfect! They are available at special request from them if you like 👍
Sold me!! Just seeing & hearing the fun you had with unit was most persuasive.
Thank you
OK I AM SOLD!!, GETTING IT THIS WEEK COMING ORDING IT AT AMAZON, GREAT VIDEO
You hear the sound on your smartphone or on headphones? If only on headphones, then better the nux mighty air.
@@guardianobserver6593 Thanks for that info most likely i get both own 5 guitars
Man you were throwing down! Especially on the soloing over the R&B backgrounds!
Jay smoking over the track @ 9:25 😁👏👍
Just bought one,and I'm properly impressed.
Nice guitar, Nice attitude, Nice playing, I bought this Mighty plug and it's a lot of fun, thank you.
Si I did buy one of those Mighty Plugs but my app has a different layout. I have 7 different locations I can store sound in and I do not have a tweed amp model and also the "shimmer" reverb is not there. Idon't know how old this video is. You sure are the best guitar player demoing it but I don't know now if my app is the most current one. I got it from the Google play store,
Great video! Thanks!! I got this for my son for Christmas & I’ll use your video to show him what this MightyPlug can do! 🙌🏽
Hope he likes it!!
Looks like they just managed to put the techniques used in the line 6 Amplifi series into that one little plug - Awesome!
I intend to use Nux Mighty Plug to practice and study at night. The lessons I'm taking are video streamings from CZcams, from e-learning websites not live and from videos saved on my laptop.
I want to listen those video lessons from Nux by using the Bluetooth 4.2 connection.
Do you think I'll get a imperceptible lag between audio and video? Is it usable or the lag is too much perceptible?
If not usable them I'll get the Fender Mustang micro instead.
What do you think?
Thanks for your help.
could you comment on how that worked out for you??
@@liquiddddd I got the fender. Its great in all terms
Great demo, amazing playing, Im sold!
When I love my new toy 🤩🤩😂
Amazing video!
I must get this today... on Amazon Day! Woohoo!
@jayLeonardJ Hi dear, 2 questions if I may: 1) can I stream music from my Macbook and hear it via bluetooth on the amp to play along? 2) how do you adjust the volume (balance between the backing track and the guitar signal)? Do I need to use the app in order to do that? Thanks in adavnce.
Excellent demo video. Just great work. ;)
Wow an Omega amp sighting! I have the same one (branded Magnasonic) and love it.
Nice to see another one of us out there: for years I thought I was the only one left!
Hello i just purchased the mighty plug, but how does the Audio streaming work?
SUCH a tasty player
Is it normal that on my Mighty Plug the big button is flimsy and you can hear it rattling when you shake the device?
You are great and very infomative and love your playing. However, the name of the company is pronounced new x. Everything I have owned from that company has broken down an they do not stand behind their products. Please demo the Fender Mustang Micro. Thanks
Beast of a player.... Amazing.
Hi! Thanks for the help.
I'm having a problem here: I can her audio from my phone (iPhone 6s, IOS 14.2) by bluetooth, but can't connect to the app. I select Mighty Plug on the app, but the app can't find it. I've already update the firmware on my Mac and deleted and reinstalled the app for about 5 times this afternoon. Am I missing something?
Ahhh. The Fender Mustang Micro!
What do you think about Mooer Mighty ?
So can I get it into a monitor via audio interface or can i use the phones out as my line out ??
How did you capture that sound? Do you have an audio bluetooth interface that connects to the Nux?
Amazing playing as always! Love how you can throw yourself in a mix and immediately come up with tasteful ideas as you have demonstrated here with the jam tracks. Mad respect!
Do you know if you can use AirPods or Bluetooth headphones/speakers?
No. Unfortunately the device syncs with your phone/tablet/laptop via Bluetooth but you do have to use wired headphones after that
@@hinezilla thank you 🙏🏽
@@ZL1LoVeR of course! Still one of the best practice tools I’ve found. Enjoy
Can't wait to get a mighty plug
You're just unreal dude. Like un effing real
Where is sound from MP2 being sent to? I missed it if it was explained...
The sound is "sent" to the headphones you plug into the MP2 (there's no way that the MP2 can send audio to BT headphones). You can also plug a USB cable into the MP2 and use it as an audio interface with your PC. Nux does even offer ASIO drivers for Windows.
@@KrisperKenvue ah ok thanks, he's probably using it as interface over the USB then. It's just that the sound is better than other demos I listened.
Would it be a terrible idea to plug this into a drive or fuzz pedal or even one of those cheap 5 switch multi fx boards?
Nothing is a terrible idea :) I haven't tried it, but it would definitely be a fun experiment!
Hello, how do you connect it to the amp to be able to listen it as you do it now in this video?
I connected the Headphone jack to my audio interface :)
That's what i finaly found myself finaly. Thank you for the answer🙏😉👍
cool demo. i wish I could find a demo for the bass..
There's a short one available from Nux themself. I use it with a passive bass and it works fine, not just "it works". Be aware, no delay available in bass mode, at least not if you use the official app.
Hi Jay, just got one. This is a BT receiver, not a transmitter. So you can't use your phone speakers (or ear buds) as a wireless amp. I also bought a separate BT transmitter that plugs into the 3.5 headphone out to see if I can achieve my ideal set up. Wireless ear buds (live). Great sounds, no latency on my Samsung note 20 ultra! Can't wait to enjoy it & turn on the 12 yr old neighbor kid to coolness.
I have read folks pairing with a Bluetooth speaker, but no sure how to do that yet...any suggestions? Please and thank you
And why not buying direct the nux mighty air?
thats so stupid. i am extremely bummed to find out..............
somehow, my MP2 does not sound like this. there must be something wrong with my guitar. or my chops! xD
Is the iOS app Audiobus 2 compatible? Inter app compatible? Can be used as a plug in?
Nope. All the sound manipulation/modelling is done by hardware in the MP2, not in the app. The app is only used to change settings of the MP2.
I have a question! I have the Mighty Plug and can use the amp models, effects, etc. and hear the guitar in my headphones (plugged into the MP), but when I try to use the Jam Tracks, the tracks don’t play in my headphones, they play on my iPad’s speakers. How to get the jam tracks to play through the headphones along with my guitar? Thanks for any help!
Go into the iOS settings and pair the Mighty Plug with your tablet like any BT audio device. The plug uses 2 BT connections - one for the settings/app itself (done in the app) and one for streaming audio to the plug (done in the iOS settings). They are independent of each other.
@@KrisperKenvue Thanks! I saw a comment on another demo video explaining just what you said, and now I can hear the jam tracks and my guitar in the headphones! It was not intuitive (to me) that the jam tracks had to be streamed separately from the guitar signal.
Darn! I just bought the Boss Pocket GT that's about $200.00 more than this little $69.00 device that does about the same exact thing.
You are rich!
You!!!
@@guardianobserver6593 I cancelled the order and got the NUX instead. For $69.00 it's an awesome little tool!
Best deal from the NU-X simulators. Sounds like the Mighty Air with better speakers. Sounds like the MG300 but adds bass amps. Audio interface works well. This is the 1st video where the acoustic sim sounds good. Rudimentary drums. Do yourselves a favor and get Drum Genius on your device.
Is it better than the nux mighty air? I can't stand the headphones. Too warm plus the are no cable connections with the nux mighty air.
@@guardianobserver6593 You can connect the Mighty Plug to powered speakers via the headphone out. And mine cost $69. As far as I can tell the amps and effects are identical.
@@jaribu2758
The nux mighty air have EQ with a function that can "take out" of the tracks you play, the guitar sound so that you can play you instead.
@@guardianobserver6593 I can't find that function on my Mighty Air. Is this in the IOS version of the app? Also, isn't the app for the Mighty Air the same as the Mighty Plug anyway?
@@jaribu2758
I don't have the amp but in many reviews I read it.
Here for example
www.artistguitars.com.au/buy/nux-mighty-air-10w-wireless-guitar-bass-amp-with-b/16140
At the bottom of the page. It's called
"" GUITAR CUT EQ setting"".
I am interested to know if there is this function indeed so please write a note if you find it and works like they say.
Jay... bad hair day? 😂
I've never had a bad hair day in my life 😜
Hi Jay, could you tell me if you feel some latency when playing ? Thanks very much
In terms of latency touch, I think it is about the same as those old Red Bean Line 6 Pods from the 90s 👍
@@JayLeonardJ thanks Jay, 🙏🙏🙏
Mighty Plug's system latency is around 2ms.
@@Monkcustom thank you very much 🙏
What did you use to record the audio?
I used the headphone out of the Mighty plug straight to the Interface.
@@JayLeonardJ Ah, nevermind I figured it out with the USB port
Does that unit not have a tuning function, Jay's guitar was out of tune
Dude, tune your guitar... or does it not have a tuner built in?
I did tune my guitar. It just didn't stay that way, haha.
Yamaha revstar is my dream guitar
Love mine. It's been so useful for me over the years :)
There is a new sheriff in town called the Fender Mustang Micro. Anyone compared that to this one?
