    Amazing, here in India, the doctor tried his best for 10- 15 minutes, pulling, tugging , stretching and finally i told him to stop. Then I got it back into place under anthestia and under admmission!

    I almost dislocated my shoulder yesterday. I felt it come out part way, didn't hurt, just felt pressure. It hurt like heck when it popped back in the socket on its own. My coworker was about 35 feet away from me and she heard it pop back into place. I was more shocked at how loud it was than it hurt when it went back in. Today my arm feels weird. It hurts like after getting a vaccine. It's tolerable.

      Did you check it out if it still hurts after such a long time?

    t's eaiser just to rotatate your arm out from that position,
    anyway, how do we stop this from happening? mine came off swimming, then when i fell down the stairs, and today again swimming.

      If yours is coming out swimming it is much more likely to be an anterior/anteroinferior type. Might need an mri scan to see if you have joint damage, get checked out by your gp.

    How do u immobilise the pt?

    • @neilcunningham7905
      @neilcunningham7905  Před 7 měsíci

      Simple sling for comfort for 1-2 days then early mobilization with physiotherapist.

    I fixed it by moving my arm this way by accident once (unpleasant shock) but have never managed to do it intentionally at a gentler pace :(
    EDIT: Oh shit I actually fixed it and it didn’t hurt as much as before
