Swan is reactivate to emilnations, if you listen really closly after an elimation, theres a heart beat and it moves a small bit. Davy jones back bling is reactive to taking damage, the krakens tenticles wiggle!

The backblings don’t seem to work in creative, but my friends have found it out. The kraken shakes when taking damage, and the chest plays a heartbeat when getting elims

If you really want to get technical with the price for Barbossa, remember Pizo, you have purchased several skin sets where the pickaxe is sold separately from the skin, no bundle for both, meaning if a skin was 1200 and had a pickaxe for 500-800, you basically spent 1700-2000 vbucks for the set. We SAW you do that with Rufus, PJ, Comet, Starr Oakley, and more.
And you did not make note in those videos how buying the set was expensive or overpriced at all, only if the individual item was overpriced, you would say something.
So in contrast to those outfits with their pickaxes, Barbossa with just a pickaxe coming bundled with him is fairly priced, especially for a collab skin.
And as for why Swann and Davy Jones are 1600, well, Epic probably wanted to sell them at 2000, but because of the negative feedback from the community about their 2000 price tag being attached to so many Collab skins lately, they probably wanted to lower it to be more acceptable, which I think is way more acceptable.
Oh, you mean when I would mindlessly buy everything? For sure, I didn't say anything. Whatever the reason for the bundles with all 3 cosmetics being 1600, compared to something like Avatar in the past for 2000, these bundles are fair except Barbossa. It's obviously less worth buying without a back bling but with only a 100 price difference? Eh, kinda weird. Epic is implying since the only missing item is a back bling, the value of said back blings in the other bundles are only worth 100 V-bucks.
Not only that, you don't even need to compare it to other sets. Pickaxes always have a higher value and price than back blings. So a collab skin alongside a back bling for 1500 would be the most normal thing ever. Now, here instead of coming with a back bling, it comes with a pickaxe, and suddenly it's overpriced? I honestly don't think so

@PIZOtv Think of it like this then, Barbossa by himself with no backbling, would’ve been priced at 1200. With collab skins of recognizable characters sold in the shop, they don’t go lower than 1200, regardless if they have a backbling or not. And if the pickaxe was sold separately for let’s say 500, that’s 1700 total. If they sold a bundle for both Barbossa and the pickaxe, you’re basically looking at the price of it right now.
And yea, sometimes a backbling plays into the price of the skin. Like a skin most of the time would be priced at 800, but if they come with a backbling paired with the skin, the price jumps to 1200, insinuating that the backbling is worth 400. Here, with Swann and Davy Jones, it does imply that the backbling makes it cost 100 vbucks more. However, I think both Swann and Davy Jones would’ve been priced at 1500 on their own with their backblings. Generally speaking, most collab skins with backblings are priced at 1500 anyways. But because they also have a pickaxe with them, it’s 1600, which is not new for pricing, because Raven Team Leader has the exact same price, since that outfit comes with a pickaxe.
And there’s the added factor that the 1600 price was the lowest they were willing to do for a collab outfit with a backbling and pickaxe together, since they saw that making them 2000 would make people mad, even though, the math would make more sense if they were priced at 2000, compared to now at 1600.
Just the way I see it, imo.

It really sucks how so many of the pirate cosmetics are locked to a really old battlepass. Stuff ill never get because i didnt start playing the game until Ch2S6.

IMO Barbossa is by far the best character movie wise here so that’s why he’s here. He’s good in every movie.

Hello Pizo and Thx for the review, by the way It seems like Epic enjoys making fun of their players and they need to stop it. The 2 backpacks on sale with Swann and Jones ARE NOT REACTIVE but ANIMATED.. I asked Epic to correct the gross error as soon as possible, these skins ARE NOT FREE you have to pay and the words that accompany them MUST be correct and not false to entice the purchase!

They could certainly have made a Kraken Glider, a Flying Dutchman glider, a monkey backbling for Barbossa, added a cursed skeleton style to Barbossa like they did to Jack (which is a separate skin), added an edit style to Jack where he wears his long coat in addition to his hat, and I would have liked to see a Will Turner skin as well... (Maybe next time? 👀)
But the cosmetics we actually got are really well made, it's just really great! ⛵🏴☠️🦑
Another rap that would have worked for Captain Barbosa and also for Captain Jack Sparrow is the Gold accession because Barbosa was cursed and Jack was cursed in the movie and also the obsession with gold
Why is the pickaxe animation for Elizabeth different than the others
Maybe because she wasn't a pirate from the beginning, so her swing isn't as "conventional"? That's the only thing I can think of if it was purposeful. Other than that, it was likely an accident, and it's now just permanent animation for her sword
I want to assume it's because they just wanted to add variety to the swords.
It's not because she "isn't good at sword fighting" because this is Elizabeth from the second film and by then she's been trained by Will and is absolutely goated. Girl takes on a big chunk of Jones' Crew almost on her own at certain points.
@pyerack I'm not saying she's a bad fighter, she's a completely different breed when it comes to combat and being a pirate and captain. Me saying it's not conventional is not meant that she's terrible, it's meant in the fact that Davy and Hector have been pirates forever and Elizabeth not only learned in a relatively quick time, but she became baddass with it, that's what I mean by not conventional in quotations. I love her character and the development she had which is way more than most movies as of late, she's unique in her skills, growth, and combat on a deeper level, especially since she starts off being just a governor's daughter to them her massive journey and growth.

This bundle is WAY too expensive. You can’t even buy it with 20 dollars! Insane amount of money, not to mention that you still have to buy the event pass. The event pass should be included in this purchase
As a Kavel main, I can easily tell you that Barbosa's and Davey's pickaxe animation is the same as his, and potentially Nisha? I don't play as Nisha but I think since she's Kavel's sister they have the same animation too.
