    This has got to be one of the best & most uncomplicated tutorials about CHF I’ve ever saw! He really nails this!

    I actually HAVE CHF. Over the past 4 years about 3 cardiologists have treated me like an ignorant child when explaining the way a normal functioning heart and a not healthy fully functional heart and how my heart is functioning (or not) in comparison. Your explanationsons of the difference between the systolic and diastolic pumping actions of the valves and chambers have very "eye opening." I must admit that in order to get the information I have been seeking that I signed into this site as a "Pre Med"
    "student". I don't know how to explain myself without sounding like I have a big ego or bragging but I am more intelligent and self educated than the average patient. I already know what the average cardiologist tells the average patient. I need more info to attempt to work more productively with my healthcare team. I do not want to try to live "forever". I DO want to be as comfortable as possible! I have learned that one of the emergency department triage nurses and the doctor on the floor about a year ago nearly killed me by trying to give me the wrong medication for how I presented. I was not tested for the cold or warm damp or dry extremities.They nearly have me the diastolic medication for my systolic condition.I actually made them wait to medicate me while I looked up the medication pharmacology on Pub Med. they weren't very happy with me, but I'm here to talk about it. So far so good. I am 80 years old. And I hope to be as comfortable as possible for whatever time God has in mind for me left here on this beautiful planet.
    Thank you so much for your excellent teaching.

    Sir, wat will be the pulse character here
    Is it regularly irregular?
    Does this predidposes to restrictive lung disease that eventually lead to right heart failure?

    • @dr.pabindratamang6180
      @dr.pabindratamang6180 Před 4 lety

      Unless pt got a potential to develop atrial fibrillation. Reminding u that to feel irregularly irregular pulse it has to be AF there. N af is a possible in HF becos there is a dilatation of both atria n ventricles esp. in case of DCM as a consequence of disease. Though there r other conditions too to cause irregularly irregular pulse beside af, af is most common one. It is said that about 5 % case will have it.
