- A 1970 Ford Torino GT I shot at the Corvette Expo 2013....If I shot a Ford at a Corvette Show...you know it's got to be nice....It's called "All In"...I believe that is what you will be after you see it....very cool Car...check it out!!!...Make sure you follow me so that you don't miss any of the other cool Cars I post!!

I always liked the style of the 70-71 Torinos. I think they were the best looking of the Torinos. Too bad they don't show up more at local car shows. Back in 1973 I bought a car from a guy I use to work for. It was a 1970 Ranchero GT 429 Cobra-Jet. It had a shaker scoop, hideaway head lights, four speed, Hurst shifter, bucket seats, horizontal tachometer midnight blue metallic with a white vinyl top. Wish I still had that car today!

I know, I was about to buy this but it had too much rust then I wanted to deal with. Love chevy but this car might make me take the leap to the dark side. Lol, in all honesty back then cars were built better and wouldn't compare them with how they are today.

not a big ford fan but i have to admit that this car is wicked! i'm glad that the owner shut the hood and trunk up so that we can see the cars lines.

Scottie, you know I'm not much of a Ford kinda guy... but this owner did an absolutely fabulous job on designing and building his dream Torino!
This Torino is so damn near perfect that I don't think I'd change anything on it at all! (Which is rare for me to like a car that much!) lol

This is a nice one for sure...I have a clip of it running from the Pigeon Forge Rod Run a couple of weeks ago...
That year remind s me as the 73 Falcon in Mad MAX that's why I really love it,give me that black with a 351Clevland it's on gorgeous car.

Good knowledge. Many don't know Ford built a Hemi. Hemi is just the name Dodge owns. But Ford had a few. My favorite is the 427sohc V8. That was the first American overhead cam V8. It was designed in 1963. The engine that got Ford kicked out of nascar lol. The 427sohc destroyed the Hemi dodge that year lol

It's a beautiful and nostalgic vehicle and it comes from the very auto company that has its shit together that didn't need the govt tit to survive.While I like many Corvettes as well,I am a Ford guy thru and thru and this is one vehicle any real muscle car enthusiast would love to own. Good job.

I was waiting to get a better view of this gem and Scottie went beyond expectations by asking the owner to close it up so he could get a walk around. That's the ENTIRE point of this video so we can admire this piece of eye candy. This car is the EPITOME of a resto-mod done right. 70-71 Torinos look funny with those dinky stock wheels. This car's stance with those wheels is absolutely stellar.

@@ScottieDTV , BTW, I had a 71 Torino Cobra,My Dad Co signed for me in 71,4speed,Drag Pack,With A 3.91 Rear, Traction Lock Diff,9"Rear End,Poly Glass,15x70,Tires,Raised White Letter's, And it had The Shaker Hood Ram Air set-up, Wished I could have kept it, But The Girlfriend got pregnant and I had to accomdate her 😁😁😁, I'm still Crying, But Hey, I have A Wonderful Son.. Guess It works Both Ways, Love The Show..

I had a 69 Torino GT 390/C6 when I was 17. Bought it from a guy who got a 66 Fairlane 390/4spd. Paid $900. Ahhh.
Anyhow, that is one gorgeous car. The interior, and the stance are perfect. And the scoop just says Bring It.

I'm gonna have to get one of those hood scoops for mine, if I ever get around to working on it. My current project is a 1978 Mustang Cobra II that I wanna drop a new Crate 363 motor into.
M1CKss Sounds cool....good luck with it...that scoop is a custom scoop made for this car....You can buy one...but...it would be this same size....not sure it that would work for a Mustang....
No I wanted the same one for the same car, have a '70 Torino on the property that has been just sitting there. For that particular mustang project I'm just gonna have the tri-scoop Shelby hood put on it (saw someone else do the same thing to their 78 King Cobra and thought it was wicked) the 'Stang is gonna be a track car and the Torino I have no clue yet. Just trying to clarify what I meant, great video man.

not really a ford guy. BUT.. that is a sweet car !! a friend had one in high school in 1976. we raised some hell in that car! I can appreciate the attention to detail and craftsmanship that this man took the time and money to invest. a job well done!!! all the 70's makes and models were represented at my high school, and it was such a great time to becoming of age to drive. hell yeah we raced all the time. thanks to you for taking time to make the video, and all the videos you make. maybe you'll inspire some young person to go back to the good ole days and be creative again. best of luck to the gentleman that owns this very high quality ride ! you can see the pride in his face as he talks about it, and I cant say I blame him one bit!

That’s a Mamoth Engine! Pretty awesome build. Love those BOSS engines they are truly beautiful engines and under rated back in 1969 when the Mustang had these under the hood. Obviously do to insurance purposes...actually all muscle cars were under rated.

I had the red 71 and the blue 71 GT Torino's back when I was teenager both were 2v cleveland motors, personally I like the cars stock looking. I'm over 50 now and have been looking for another GT and this guy beat me to one that I was trying to buy in Tipton, he also parts them out but I'll get me one someday.

very nice car. Jon Kasse can make 994 horsepower on that cubic inch on pump gas on the Boss 9 engine. What a wizard that man is. Nobody can beat his knowledge when it comes to these motors.
But as a street motor they can be temperamental....
ScottieDTV That's where Fuel injection comes in. You can run that bigger horsepower and still have great drive ability. But thank you so much for your video. I am getting ready to build a 70 cobra torino, and want to run that high horsepower, high 8 sec low 9 street car sleeper on . Can you please send me more info on the tube chassis builder. Another thing I love it see you must be from Michigan. I was born and raised there.
That's where a tune comes onto play...but there is a lot of r& d to get a tune so it will drive right under all situations....You know what I know on the chassis...I was born and raised in Ohio....I have lived in Tennessee for the past 25 years..

The overall look from a distance as you said is so unique. Those Kaase motors... Huge. Some Boss go to 700 cid. That one really had great balance and function. Thanks.

Beautiful car. My first car in '86 was a '70 Torino GT 351C. It was one of 3 '70-71s in an area of 75,000 people back then. Only one guy ever wanted to race my '70, and that was the other '70 with a 429scj. He wanted to go for pink slips, and I politely declined. Many forget the Ranchero was made off this body as well.
At one time yes...numbers matching is what brought the money...but in today's market people seem to want the street rod...and are willing to pay for it..
