Jon always gives 100%. He struggles through the entire song, but he delivers, he gets there. He doesn't have to play this difficult song to sing, but he does. I respect him so fucking much. He really shows respect for the fans and gives us all he's got every night.

I expect that he was determined to sing it for y'all that night, since he had been sick and had to postpone the MSG shows a few days earlier. I had seen him sing it during the first show on this tour - in Greenville, SC. He talked about how much he had wanted to get back on stage and sing that song. I was at the two MSG shows after the two in Toronto. Absolutely wonderful! Now we just have to wait until he announces the next leg of the 2017 tour :-)
He was amazing when I saw him in 2013! Still is and considering the problems he's had and treatment for his voice in the last few years after not being able to sing at all he did amazingly well to sing this song.. So what if he''s a little off key, he's LIVE not lip syncing like all the wannabes do these days.
