"Nobody knows what offsids is, not even the refs" off to a great start, ryan clearly knows the game
FALSE... "ESPECIALLY NOT THE REFS" ...that is the correct answer 😇
@@Rebslager Thankfully the Ref doesn't have to know the rule, The line judges do.
After what happen today in the prem he’s point is pretty much proven
even those using VAR have no clue and they get other aids to help...
@@aipha2861 Faxxx bro.. Offside is what ever the system decide it is.. Lol
Ryan is right. I've watched hundreds, maybe thousands of games and never seen the keeper penalised for holding longer than 6 seconds
I see it for like 10 seconds but that’s it
Pretty sure i remember it happeneing to the Bolton keeper (at the time) Jussi Jaaskelinen, afterwards they said he had held it for something like 7.2 seconds, pretty harsh but he had probably been time wasting prior to that. Fairly certain he got booked for it too
@@Connnnnnnnnnnor you'd think it would happen more now as refs are trying to cut down on time-wasting this season
Doesn’t the clock reset if they bounce it
It feels like goalies can keep the ball like 20 or 30 seconds and won’t get penalised
These two have done a lot, not just for our team, but for our community and culture as well. They promote local businesses and our language. They are what every owner should aspire to be like.
Let's hope they keep out the Hollywoke BS
@Welshwazza there are many in Wrexham who speak Welsh, myself included. The number is growing too. Supports of the club live all over North Wales and further afield. Many of them speak Welsh as their first language.
@Welshwazza there's some, Ysgol Morgan Llwyd is one welsh medium secondary school in wrexham
tell that to gary neville lol
@@AG-io5wr have a day off being angry at the world lad
Fair play to these two, they obviously got involved with Wrexham as a business investment but they've put the time in to learn the game and promote the team the best they can
“No one knows what offsides is”
@@forrestrichard8133 Not even the refs!
@@andrewgrulke7476 certainly not the guys who run VAR !!!
Isn’t it.
@@robjj1000 This comment hits different after the Juve game
I mean, uber Kudos for not only speaking some welsh but also remembering the longest name of a town. Blew my mind a bit.
RIGHT?! I rewatched that part like 4 or 5 times before I even finished the video!!
Kit Rowan And his pronunciation was spot on too.

I actually think Rob absolutely loves Wrexham and Wales and is going to move here with his family, at some point.
He seems completely all in.
Maybe once Sunny ends, probably when the world loses Danny D
I'll be honest, that's not going to happen
If he’s got any sense he’ll live in chester and drive in
Doubt it
@@joshyaash Danny is gonna outlive all those other jabronis.
I'm so glad these guys got involved with Wrexham Football. Cant think of a better pair.
How about Hugh Jackman and Danny Devito? Just saying
Close 2nd after Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan
Why didn't they just buy a proper American football team?
@@sha7303 because they bought REAL FOOTball team. football is played with the foot not passball like Rugby or Gridiron
@@sha7303 all about relegation and promotion, and being able to take a lower division team to the top.
Rob nailed the pronunciation of the village! It took me hours to learn it once and I cannot say it with a welsh accent at all so I am shocked at how well he did that. Must have been taught by a welsh speaker, or hes a wizard.
I vote wizard. It's surely too hard to just pick up the 'sch" sound lol
I still can’t say it!
I can confirm he is a wizard
You're a wizard har- I mean Rob
He is an actor learning words is his job
Once Rob sets his mind on something his dedication to it is incredible
Bloody impressed Rob could pronounce the whole of Llanfair 😂👏
He nailed it, I don't understand at all 😂
I'm only 38 seconds in and already Ryan explaining the offside rule has me done 😂😂
Yeah it's kinda true, absolutely 💯
I mean he isn't wrong.
it's a simple rule almost all NON brainless ppl understand.. 🙄
@@Dragon9Nexus Even pundits don't understand it at times and ex-professional referees don't understand it.
I've lost count how many times I screamed at my TV because a fingernail was offside. Being millimeters offside doesn't give the attacker any advantage. It goes against the spirit of the law. Counting the millimeters is just a stat obsession, it doesn't provide any real world advantage.
Rob's pronunciation of the Welsh village was unbelievable - wow very impressed
Yeah. I'm blown away by that tbh. Like... My Welsh girlfriend can't even pronounce it that quickly.
He is an actor... so learning words, sentences and all that is probably second nature to him maybe?
@@samthemadman5000 No offense to Rob because I adore him, but he's a pretty average actor hahahaha. They have to just leave it in when he breaks character in Sunny because it happens so often. He's a sensational writer though and his comedy abilities are incredible.
He can’t pronounce the Ll properly it’s Ll not Ll-lan
As a Man United supporter and former shareholder in my team I wish that our team's owners showed 1/2 the respect to my team and our culture that these 2 hilarious stars of Hollywood show to Wrexham FC, their supporters and the great game of football. Love the fact that they know the name of the landlord of the closest pub to the ground! Good luck Wrexham, Ryan & Rob hope you get promotion this season you deserve it!! 😃👍
I'm also a United supporter, and American as well and I'm utterly embarrassed by the bad name the Glazers give American owners. I'm glad Rob is here helping to turn that stigma around.
I don’t really follow any sport but became interested after watching the documentary. Occasionally different team owners are referenced in news stories and it just seemed to me that ownership of a team was the douchebag thing to do to keep up with the other billionaires. I never thought about what team owners who care could actually give to a community. I hope there are other owners of midsize and small teams who we’ve not heard of because they’re not celebrities and who try to lift up the town and not just themselves.
I'm a United supporter as well and share the same sentiments as you. I envy Wrexham
They just got promoted!!!!!
This is just the best good news story. Their respect for the city of Wrexham, their supporters , the lower football leagues and the football played by their rivals Notts county is amazing. Rob and Ryan are an great advertisement for the football league. I wish them and the whole City of Wrexham pob lwc ( good luck) for the 23-24 season 😃👍
Who's that jabroni next to Ryan Gosling? He looks like he's been cultivating mass. I can tell because I did an ocular pat-down of him.
Think he must be drinking fight milk
Between that and the rum ham he's providing Michaelangelo with the marble he needs
Are you wearing those glasses so no one can tell how scared you are?
I love the fact that they just didn’t buy the club and didn’t actually take time to know the sport and the club’s history big respect to both of them
With offside, you just have to try to imagine the game without it, and it all makes sense.
Or watch a game before they introduced the rule..
Old offside yes but modern offside rules are a mess.
@@BuckFastNinja fax
They're just referring to the rule constantly changing and in the current game it's very confusing.
This is a duo I never knew I wanted.
Lol right . I couldn't stop laughing
Ryan: “How long is the goal keeper allowed to hold the ball?”
Rob: closes eyes and counts 6 seconds
*“8 seconds?”*
Hahaha, that happened to me too. I didn't count but I first said 6 seconds then changed my guess to 8 seconds. I don't know why but 8 seconds seems much more realistic. Also, none of the refs are applying the 6 seconds rule to the actual game as far as I see.
Rob getting the Welsh down, nice to see these two actually care about the club and the town and want to learn and be a part of it!
These guys doing great things for my football club and town.
Ryan Reynolds’s will always be my favorite. He had the best sense of humor and seems so down to earth 😂💜
Rob McElhenney also has a great sense of humor. He's the creator and writer of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and it's the funniest show I've seen.
@@HorrorMovies13 No doubt No doubt
Dude why do I see you in all the youtube channels I watch. Lol
Ryan is pretty cool but creater my favorite comedy of all time (Sunny) so he wins.
Wow, kudos to them both. As owners, they've not only bothered to learn about the sport, watch the games, support the team but also learn about Wales and the language! Incredible! I'm a Man United supporter and I wish our owners were half as interested as these 2 are. Always liked RR, but they've both gone up in my estimation. Good luck yo Wrexham on their journey.
Rob pronouncing Mjolnir haha

Sounds pretty close to how it's actually pronounced
Is that not correct?:/ lol
I figured he did that on purpose because he thought Ryan would immediately recognize it otherwise...

I love that they bought Wrexham 🥺❤️ I have no affiliation to the club but it's just so random, and they're boosting the reputation of the club so much
I’m so impressed with how even tho they don’t know the game fully they have got invested in Wrexham as a community and in Welsh culture like his pronunciation was on point

No keeper ever gets called for the 6-second rule. Refs consistently let them have up to like 10 seconds.
P.S. Insanely good pronunciation on the village name there Rob!
My first girlfriend was a Welsh girl I met at a soccer tournament in Aberystwyth when I was 13... We spent most of our time together at the Royal Pier Arcade playing games, sneaking vending machine beer and eating fish and chips. Wales is top notch in my book.

the Welsh moved to Philadelphia (6 Welsh place names there) if traces his family tree, won't surprise me if he has a Welsh ancestor
Offside rule: 2 or more players between scorer and goal line at time of pass.
Includes goalkeeper. Latest iteration I think takes scorer as the forward most body part of the person that you can use to score with (usually a shoulder)
I love these two and the fact they’re behind a Welsh club makes it even more endearing to watch haha
Welcome to Wrexham is actually a good show 👍

Holy crap, I think I'd lose my mind if I bumped into these guys just wandering around Wales, love them both
*respect!* these two will be eternal legendary heroes in wrexham, for sure.
I never hear before about the Wrexham football club but the owners are doing an amazing job promoting him 👏 👌
I was surprised he didn't get the 6 second rule for the goalkeeper, but then again Pickford would have missed that as well.
Signed up for Disney+ just for their show and to see how they acclimatise to English football, and they're doing ok. Two very likeable lads.
I was lucky enough to see the game against Dover last season and really liked the Racecourse.
I love Wales and the Welsh and best of luck to Wrexham for the season.

They obviously love this team and the country of Wales. Love the energy gotta watch that wrexham show now
Im saying it now, Rob & Ryan have set the bar for how to respect and properly run a football club, especially for outsiders and Americans. Gonna be absolutely nuts if Wrexham makes it to the Prem
Offside is when you are standing in line at the register and a woman behind you throws an item to her friend standing in front of you to pay for it. That’s an off side.
That's pretty much exactly what it is.
What if the woman in front of you realizes she's in offside position and let's the item sail past her and hit the clerk?
Or how about if there's a clerk and a bag boy in front of the woman?
Well that’s tricky one. Probably would go up to the security room to get review by the storemanager.
As a welshman. I salute you two. Thank you
I'm part Welsh and 100% an always sunny fan so I'm loving this!

@@MrXNITROx No.

The only reason people call it soccer is because Americans have their own sport called football.
