This song won the band their first Grammy also Paramore is mainly Alternative Rock, emo rock early career and sometimes pop rock they got started in 2004 when the lead was only 15 and 16 years old when the first album came out in 2005
Paramore is legit great band even when they went to pop after starting our pop punk/ emo. They are from Tennessee so southern roots which Haley Williams clearly gets her powerful soul r and b voice from im sure. Truly one of the best singers of our time she sounds like that live with no hitch
I’m pretty sure Haley grew up in Meridian, Ms. And her parents and grandparents still live here.
Paramore= paramour- a lover. But that's how I used to easily interpret the band name. Their band has been bigger and smaller, she's gone on her own (at the worst time ever- pandemic) but they all keep coming back to each other. And the music on all of their records. At least a line per song is extremely moving, uplifting, slamming, just makes you feel something. I hope you really enjoy the rabbit hole of music. It covers the gamut of emotions.

Along with Fall Out Boy, P!ATD, and MCR, Paramore was huge in the emo/pop punk scene during the mid 2000's, so you guys should check out their earlier songs. A proper intro would've been "Misery Business". "Ignorance", "Pressure", or "Emergency" are good choices too.
More Paramore please! They are kinda like pop-rock most definitely but Hailey Williams has an beautiful voice and their songs back in the day are all amazing.

Years ago, up early, getting ready for work, I had VH1 music channel on tv and Paramore was featured as “you should know”, playing Misery Business. I thought to myself, my daughter would really like this. She did. Fast forward a few years and I took her to her first ever concert to see them. I think she was about 16? Good memories.

Like Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and My Chemical Romance, Paramore is technically considered pop rock or alternative rock. A lot of them didn't like the label of "pop rock" because those annoying rock fans felt like it wasn't "real" rock music. But pop rock makes sense considering the sound and general popularity of the groups. They were/are loved across all groups of people: Black, white, Asian, Latino, etc. But yeah, Black ppl love Paramore lol They have a really good discography. Y'all need to check out more.
