    Excellent information. Thanks for sharing. Please keep doing more. I want to construct a small living space with lime in Hyderabad. Not sure if we will find skilled artisans who can do lime work here. I will continue to watch these videos and hope one day I will build a house of my own.

    If we need acrylic binders for this plaster, I noticed some dusty particles when sanding a small test patch.

      You can use hemp fibers. Much better than acrylic binders

    Ok. Rammed Earth wall and layer of marbel dust + lime + pigment. How many layers? As described in the video dust are of different sizes. And each size make a different material. Have you used 4mm of larger sized dust mixture layer and 4mm of finer sized marbel dust? Or one size one layer? or differnt sizes mixed in one layer? Sorry, I am not getting it clearly.

      This video is for a textured lime surface. This is just one layer application with larger sized marble dust + lime mix.

    Great information. What type of pigment is used with lime to bring different vibrant colours on wall and in what quantity it should be mixed and from where to obtain the same

    • @farmaanandaa
      @farmaanandaa  Před 3 měsíci

      These are natural oxides or even synthetic pigments. The quantity depends on the colour you are looking for.

    • @farmaanandaa
      @farmaanandaa  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Lime plasters do not need any curing. They just need time.

    How lime structure behaves in case of earthquake.
    Means how a lime structure is analyzed for seismic loading, or are we only relying on its self weight

      Lime is a binder like cement. You need bricks or stone to build the walls!
