The most beautiful thing about this music is that nobody makes bad comments. Anyone who listens to it doesn't understand it, and that's bullshit, but they don't dare say it's bad, they just listen to it over and over again until you say: Its fucking great.
Adrian Belew moving into KC is of the greatest wonderful things ever happening to music of planet Earth, I will never forget to remember me of this.
The thing I adore most about King Crimson is the freshness of their melodies and that interesting unique dystopian or dreamlike vibe evoked from masterful sound designing
A band they directly inspired, Between the Buried and Me, does the same kind of thing but they're modern progressive metal. They're the reason I discovered King Crimson and they're also my favorite band. Check out their song "Backwards Marathon", and listen to the whole thing!

I'd rather glossed over this song when the album came out. Coming back to it years later I can't believe what I'd missed; it's like discovering a new KC song! Someone mentioned Lennon, but I hear Hendrix too in the verse part. yet most of all I hear pure KC, finding that one moment of peace each of their albums manages to find.
