Thanks a lot for this video! As a suggestion to solve the speaker and headphones running simultaneously problem, a simple slide switch along the positive wire to the speaker (assuming that it is not shielded), accessible via a little opening on the case side, to open the speaker circuit when using headphones.
that would sort it out…
New to this. I'm going to copy your kapton-tape on the sdcard...just getting everything updated. Sdcard fell in the case, like a quarter going into a piggy-bank. Thank you.

Do you have a video or information on the battety? I ordered a 3.8v 2500mAh but the JST connector is too big, wondering of I can (or should) change the connector.
my battery is also dead, so Ill be replacing it asap… video will be created. if you can fit the battery in- then just replace connector
@@takeapart Looking forward to the video! What measurements are your battery, the one I got is too thick, unfortuntely. I can't find any documentation on recommendations.
Do you really need to unplug power before you just rip it apart as I've ripped it apart and put mine back together several times without disconnecting the battery first and haven't had any issues.

@@takeapart it would need 5v power, then audio in directly from the connector you used for the speaker. There is a ‘sync’ button that would have to be integrated into the case but I think it would fit between the PCB’s!
ok, maybe a step up converter connected to the battery… it would fit and work!

Why do you put earplugs in between? Also does the batteries have to be Lipo or can they be lithium ion?
hi, earplugs foam is to secure parts and wires from being detached. (no rocket science) . battery wise… I believe it can be any type
Or just use double sided tape with your battery like it's recommended

hi, Im not 100% sure what you after… cars are using 433.92MHz and 315MHz depends on location.
