Gameplay Overview:
Prince John is coming to Nottingham! Players, in the role of merchants, see this as an opportunity to make quick profits by selling goods in the bustling city during the Prince's visit. However, players must first get their goods through the city gate, which is under the watch of the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Makes giving big brides a gamble and sheriffs have to be careful because if they take a bribe and screw people over they won't want to work with them in the future

They've done this before. Just mostly on livestreams around christmas. My personal favorite party game video was when they had nearly everyone in the office playing werewolf. Bear in mind that this was 2011, if I recall.
It was released in January 2014, as a shindig for Strippin going away.

You need to honour deals if they can be completed the same round (including opening other people's bags if it's the same round, Duncan) and if you have an undeclared legal good then that is also confiscated along with any contraband (you just can't declare contraband).

Actually, you can bribe the sheriff to search another player's bag. It explicitly says so in the rules. Once they take the bribe, they must do what you asked them

Duncan, I feel you. After I went to England I literally spent a month or so afterwards running around with 20 Euro and A LOT of pounds. Even worse, a lot of it was in coins so I could not exchange it in Germany.

They're giving this game to Duncan... I guess Duncan has played a lot more but it only takes like 5 games to know the standard moves he played. Zylus should have called him out on his turn, that's where Duncan got it.
