In Kentucky you can get a new clean title sent to you in the mail with a trip to the DMV and a sheriff inspection. The only catch is you have to of owned the car for 6 years.
Yeah it’s the same kind of deal in Iowa. You apply for a bonded title and can’t sell it for 2 years. I think it’s similar in Wisconsin. Not sure where I’m going to title it yet!
I have the same car my dad bought in 1979. He passed away in 83. It now has a 351 Cleveland with a c-4 and 9” rear. I’ll never sell it. My son gets it when I go

Looks like we have a similar project, a friend gave me a 1980 Mustang parts car, which ended up being a Cobra Turbo. It has a few rust spots but all the important areas are very clean. It was missing the bumper and hood but from a strange turn of events, I had purchased those not so long before he gave me the car.
Being in Europe, Coyotes aren't all that common or cheap, and I'd rather keep the budget low. Not looking to win anything, just to make it a quick, reliable and easily drivable car on a budget. Probably an Sn95 drivetrain and brakes, easy upgrade, and for the engine, the Jaguat Duratec V6 3.0L is interesting I think, a light engine, with good power, plentiful, and one of the few good sounding V6s out there.
Hey those 3.0 curates are great motors! I had a Taurus with one in it and maybe throw a turbo on it and it would be a screamer!
