I visited Lithuania and stayed there for five days. Language is the big issue there and wage rate is too low as well. No burger king no Pizza hut there.. I had so much food issue even I was staying in the hotel. Not so much opportunities there for the non EU in my assumption.

Language is barrier but not much, because almost new generation there speaks english, yes pay rate is a little low,. Because its just a new eu country. Need time to become rich or Developed.
I am working in Sweden and I just visited there for a few days to spend my vacation. It is a good country to live in but I found language is the big issue not like Sweden. Language is the barrier in Sweden as well but I found most people don't know English in Lithuania. I have visited Vilnius and Kaunas cities. It is an inexpensive country compared to Sweden in my opinion. I heard that many IT jobs are there in Lithuania. I have seen few Asian in the town of Vilnius. Airport is very small. I like the people who are very helpful and friendly.
