- In this video we will do a coding with VCDS to remove the error displayed on the dashboard because of the recently installed LED bulbs.
this coding works for VW cars from the year 2004-2008.
for information, if one of your LED bulbs is ruined or does not work, the light will come on to warn you even if COLD LAMP DIAGNOSIS ACTIVE has been deactivated.

Hello, i have led lights on number plate and on headlights. When i turn on they turn off after 5 seconds. Will this fix this issue or just the fault code??
If you have a 2008 year model and before it will fix the issue if you have 2009 and after there an other coding

Je comprends pas j'ai acheter des ampoules led canbus et celle ci me mettent une erreur pour les feux de croisement mais pas pour les pleins phare.
Le biiiiip de l'ampoule grillé me rends dingue et celui ci ce produit toute les 5 min et c'est dangereux car les feux scintillent le temps de l'erreur.
Dans ta vidéo tu dis que si une ampoule est grillé le tableau de bord l'a signalera meme avec l'option décoché s'est top cest ce que je veux justement mais jai de gros doutes que cela fonctionne.

My friend says i should use VCP to turn off the "cold diagnostic" on my car.
I see that in the video you shared, he types in a certain combination of zeros and ones and gets something. But I don't know for which bulbs it turns off the check. Because I installed a reverse LED bulb, with canbus. And everything works ok, but when starting the vehicle, it sometimes gives me an error on the dashboard, and when I put it in R, the error goes away by itself. Via VCDS On the passat b6 2007, I had the option to turn off the bulbs that I don't want the cold start check to perform.
But on passat b7, there is no such option.
It is even recommended by the manufacturers of LED bulbs, because during cold diagnosis, a higher voltage is sent and can shorten the life of the bulb.

how do you turn this light off using vcds I have a skoda fabia vrs 2013 (reason to turn this light off is because I have changed the numberplate lights to led ones) thanks

If the light still display with the coding, so you have bad quality of led, there is an other way,use a w5w halogen bulb and connect it directly with the connector of led

Je crois qu'il n'y a pas de méthode pour le désactiver avec codage, il ya une méthode manuelle c'est d'installer une lamp w5w en parallèle avec l'ampoule led , mais le problème c'est que si l'ampoule led est foutu tu n'aura pas de voyant sur le tableau car c'est avec ce flash que calculateur diagnostic les ampoules

J’ai fait cette manip sur mon Touran de 2006 mais le défaut est toujours présent lorsque j’allume mes feux de croisement. Comment faire ?
Avec ce codage vous devez avoir des led de bonne qualité avec cabus je crois c'est le problème, pour info la voiture dans la vidéo est aussi une touran
