- This audiobook is adapted from the unproduced screenplay from mid-1998. Batman: DarKnight was a sequel script to 1997’s Batman & Robin. The idea was conceived by Lee Shapiro and Stephen Wise, who were commissioned by WB executive Greg Silverman to draft a screenplay. The idea was later scrapped in favor of other proposals to revive the Batman franchise, ultimately resulting with Batman Begins in 2005.

This is amazing, not only is the voice acting great but the writing is good. This feels very serious and I can totally see this as a sequel to the Tim Burton batman movies. James Cameron's Spider-Man?! Peyton Reed's Fantastic Four?! J.J. Abrams' Superman: Flyby?! Daniel Waters’ Catwoman?!
This was slightly better than "Batman Begins"; and the reason I am saying this is because with Nolan's version of Jonathan Crane, he had very little to no backstory whatsoever as to why he did what he did, he was just simply evil and deranged; it would have helped to give Cillian Murphy's version a cool backstory like in this script because this is exactly how Nolan should have portrayed The Scarecrow in his movie. This was absolutely top notch and I thoroughly enjoyed the performances overall; I am a big fan of radio theater; you guys made me feel so immersed in the story. So bravo to you all, amazing job! Will definitely be listening to more on your channel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁🦇

"Batman Unchained" is actually a different script that was in development around the same time as this one, but written by Mark Protosevich.
Dark Knight was junk.. Cast was abysmal... Cinematography was trash.. Bale didn't have the magic.. Was better than Afftrash..
Batman has been put through the mud for the last 2 decades..
They need to make this story a comicbook series instead of a audio drama tbh
I would have loved that as well, but since there isn’t a comic book series available I made the audio drama.
