Was that salted cod? I'm interested in your review. I love octopus, glad you enjoyed it! We'll have to hit this place up next time we're in Cascais. Thanks for the great review. Good luck to Dani on her exams.

Thanks Michael...we have a load of great content in the pipeline.
Yes that was salted cod that Liam had was also delicious but the octopus was the better of the two dishes (in my opinion)

    Thanks Jimmy ☺
I've always been squeamish about trying octopus & squid, probably due to depictions as a child of giant versions of them attacking ships & the like, plus the tentacles look horrific lol! 🤣
However I've tried calamari on two occasions now in Madeira due to fellow British CZcamsr Carrie Patsalis savouring it in Bangladesh!
You may have tempted me in trying polvo on my next visit to Portugal, so it's risen from 0% to 30%, but it's those darn tentacles putting me off!
I almost half expected you to do a Mark Wiens face when you reacted to the flavours of the octopus dish! 😆
By the way all the best for Danni & you'll have to let us know how she did in a future video.
Have a great weekend my friend & looking forward to the next one 🤗

I can not stress enough how much I was pleasantly surprised by octopus. It is NOTHING like I thought it would taste...when you come to Portugal I have another recommendation for Octopus in the Algarve (should be the next video)

baba de camelo in reality is not a caramel mousse. Is a boiled condensed milk mousse with eggs. The translation is camel's drool because apparently the colour and looks of the camel's drool is similar 😂
