Practical Nursing Program

The Practical Nursing Program combines general education courses and nursing courses that allow students to complete their education in one year and be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN licensing exam. Classroom lectures, laboratory sessions and clinical practicums in area hospitals, long term care facilities and community health agencies are offered over two semesters.

Do you have to take any kind of test to get in LPN school

Irma Duncan Yeah, it's usually a placement test called the T.A.B.E test, well at least at the college I'll attend in October. Some colleges may be different, I had to test on the 12th grade level in all parts (Math, Language, and Reading) to be accepted. Some colleges will accept 9th or 10th grade level on all parts, which is great. Good Luck!
