Can’t wait for the F950 Super Duper duty
That flat deck is beautiful
Been waiting for some coverage of this liquid spring suspension. Very interesting stuff.
Those trucks are beautiful
We will test these trucks properly very soon - in Colorado!
@@TFLtruck 🙌🏽……..😁
Try Sulastic springs
@@TFLtruck the best place in the world
Man Andre you dropped the ball buddy why didn't you ask the guy to put it at stock height and then raise it up to the 8-in lift. So we can all see and stand back shoot the whole truck while somebody's doing that that's what your viewers want to see.
Actually the way that he said that is misleading. It’s a total of 8 inches 4negative and 4 positive. We have them in all the ambulances where I work, most all ambulances new ones have this type of suspension. When you open the back doors it drops the truck 4 inches when you close the doors it goes to normal right height and if you want you could raise it up 4 inches. You would never drive it in the minus 4 setting, That’s for unloading the stretcher out of the back of a truck so when that is in -4 literally does not have a suspension, if you try to drive it like that it would knock your teeth out.
I bought a new 2017 E-450 at the end of 2018. 6.8 L, 4.56 gears, 6 speed, 176" wheelbase, 9,600 # rear axle, 17' Unicell Aerocell body. $39,500 plus another $4,500 to extend the warranty to 6 years. It's not a 4x4 but I'm happy.
If I could afford 2 normal trucks, 1 of these might be tempting.
i cant afford a house. one of these might be tempting.
Great video. I worked with Carl & Gary from Liquid Spring after PNW show to get some real world data with my habitat & rig (17,700lbs) to start making some improvements to the suspension's Camp Leveling system. It was impressive and exactly what we are all hoping for that have the Liquid Spring on our overlanding rigs. PLUS can't say enough about Carl & Liquid Spring's attention to customer service. Excited to see the final product. If you have a big rig give it a look. I can't imagine my rig without it. I AM NOT A PAID SPOKESPERSON. I AM A REAL CUSTOMER.
Can you make a video about yours. I’ve got the Kelderman on my 550 but I’m intrigued… before this video I had never heard of Liquid Spring.
What magnificently engineered trucks and it's all 100% made in USA!
This is one of the most informative FLT videos on unique HD truck content. Love it.
Glad to see this type of video I enjoy seeing new products.
thank you for watching.
Wow...great walk through. Thank you
I do love this truck overall.really nice for towing rv…love it
Dream machines! More capability than I need right now but awesome!
Andre, take it out on the Ike! Do a fuel mileage test.
Those are awesome looking!!!! F550😊👍
Those trucks are worth every single penny
Thanks for nothing Andre! Now I just realized my F250 6.7 Tremor platinum is trash. I have to have one of these!
That is if you’re willing to wait 17 months which is what it was for that truck.
@@garrisongoodman4775 All the trucks are readily available now days. It will be done in much quicker time frame and they may have few in stocks.
I could see this set up being very useful for fire fighting.
They do make these for fire fighter trucks. Got a sweet one on the Army Post I work at. It’s a 2022 F-550. No one uses it because we don’t have a fire department. Got about 5 of them. Government spending for you. Waste, Fraud and Abuse.
Wow awesome trucks!
'Mericuh! F-yeah! big trucks, Bigger Trucks and SUPER SIZE TRUCKS !!!!
Ooooooohhhhhhh Yeah Babeeeeeeee !!!! bring me one of those!
V
I absolutely do not need this truck, but I absolutely want this truck 😫 😩
Very cool!!
I was way more impressed with this than I thought I’d be. I’m sure it’s worth the price, but I’m surprised there would be enough market for this.
Holy moly! Those are amazing! I’m going now to buy some lottery tickets!
For what they want for new raptors now a days, you might as well buy one of these black edicion f550s lol
Incroyable ❤❤❤
Wow you should schedule some testing with them!
He reminds me of a young Diesel Dave.
Cool!
If you can pay $160k for a pickup, you probably aren't worried about warranty anymore.
Awesome truck’s…
Beast 👍😂
...damn, those are nice trucks! Unfortunately, I can't afford 3 miles to the gallon right now...
Thanks for the amazing video. What is the towing capacity for those 550 trucks
Good question. Either it's no better than what Ford says for the chassis used before their additions and these guys no TFL know to perk up to mention it, or they're strategically omitting it because it's Actually lower than stock. And "towing" is not the same as "Hauling", which is what they Do mention increase when they speak of the Payload.
FYI: most truck drivers don't rightly differentiate Payload (i.e. Hauling) from Towing. And the BIG number that's used for impact and advertising is the GCWR which includes the weight of the truck and whatever it's Hauling, which in this case is more weight of suspension and the bed and electronics. I.e. the New Curb weight of these trucks subtracts from the Combined in GCWR and therefore reduces the towing a trailer allowed.
He doesn't mention; the highest trim levels are not available in the 550. They are, however, with the Ram
You can get a Lariat 550.
@@aggiewoodie yes, that's what he had. But you cannot get a limited or a platinum
If you are buying one of these, you can pay for a custom interior.
lariat is all ya need and nothing ya dont
Trim? Thats perhaps the lamest thing ive ever heard said about a truck!
Trim package is for your wifes car and bbags with man buns.
The host mammoth would be awsome on this beast
Or 2 haha
I’ve yet to see a tricked out F550. Is this real world or shock and awe?
You can also get an f350 and f450 as a chassis cab. Pickup truck guys don't seem to know this
you can also order a ford ranger as a chassis cab as well. or you could last year.
@@TFLnow yes, but I wonder if anybody in the United States ever did that
@@kevinbarry71 meals on wheels and the humane society where I live have used them.
@@jubowub3685 OK. Guess I didn't notice
Liquid spring or kelderman.... I want both!
I wander what a liquid spring upgrade would be on an 18 Ram 3500.
Would love to get your information.....really interested in buying one of these...I love the 550 and the 650
Elevation off grid trucks, Denver Colorado, ask for Jeremy or Sergio
On the frame rails I see ARB - does this rig have lockers?
Then there is no sway bars if there's the fully "no body roll" in the 4 corner silicone suspension. But it does have them anyway
The F550 can be ordered from the factory with the liquid spring suspension. Super single rear, and some bushwhacker flairs are easy mods.
I don't understand the price and what engineering they're doing.
It's a fantastic truck that I will never own. There is another company called, MegaRexxTrucks, that basically do the same for same price as EOG, but with 46" tires on MRAP wheels.
I'm curious about the damping heat capacity of those shocks- or are they springs?- like you can see built overlanding trucks with an organpipe array of dampers at each wheel...how would these perform in long stretches of washboard?
External res shocks are for speed/dunning. A true trail beater, doesn't need, nor want those. Slow crawing, trails, rocks. They are not preferred. Feel free to giggle at such set ups, built for the wrong need.
@@96kylar a solid axle + stock shocks is a great combo for blowing out shocks on 'normal' washboard road driving, Edmunds did a video where a Tacoma TRD Offroad and Pro4x Titan did just that after about 10 miles of washboard. So yeah heat capacity of the shock is a valid question even if you're not desert running
You guys need to get that controller setup on some high quality switches.
Edit: So where do I buy one?
I'm surprised how reasonably priced they are. Some off-road companies get a bit crazy. So who knows could be 200k
Right, just $179K, lol, pocket change. Makes a lot of new trucks sound pretty affordable, too. It's all relative.
Nice truck the only question is will it pull a 48' Luxe 5th wheel trailer 13.6 Height?
Really want to know this too (fully laden and full-time living in it). Someone please give us an answer. Thanks.
Yea obviously bro a 350 could pull that
🤣 You go all the way to Oregon to talk to a Colorado company. 🤠 I reckon that is like going across the pond to experience European food and eat at McD's. 🥸
Well McDonald's and other American fast food companies often have substantially different menus and unique items in other countries we don't have here so....not that crazy actually.
He is at the Overland Expo. It is smarter to go to an exhibition where they show their best. At the factory a customer is likely to get less attention.
Any level sells kits you can by and install to adjust trucks height from very low to alternatively high enough for any adverse terrain on any truck from RANGERS to say 550’s
Very affordable
Amazing trucks
Kelderman uses air. Do a review of that system.
How does it work with hauling a 5th wheel trailer
Oh! How I wish I could had one of those F-550 Raptors.
It's expensive but I was expecting it to cost 200k+.. the prices aren't bad for what you get.
Nice, I wonder how much is this beauty????
So if you build a Norweld camper tray and truck camper or flatbed camper can the entire unit be titled as an RV? And how does D.O.T. classify this build if it is used recreationally and not commercially?
At 27 in video what's the price run on that one ?
Hydraulics have been around for a long time. Curious that we have not seen it used off road very much.
What’s the wheel brand?
Nice Trucks, I know the ones shown in the videos are diesel but could the 7.3l gas engine be ordered with the 550
The brown truck at the show is a gas truck! You most definitely can order a gas truck.
@@BloomingCastleKings thanks
Wow 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍
Could you please link the website for the trucks please?
Question can they order the liquid spring truck w a gas engine ?
Liquid Spring makes suspension upgrades for F53 motorhome chassis with 7.3 gas engines. Engine shouldn't make a difference.
What is the max. height, at full extension, width, and the length of the limitless? I want to know if it can fit in my garage or not. I would love to have one of those trucks. I just can't pull the trigger at that price point. Maybe someday. Thanks for the video TFL.
You can lower it to fit in a 7ft garage. Just watch their video on delivery 2023 black F550
Who would know how to do the alignment and other works on this truck in other cities?
I like this truck. But I don't know how I feel about the brakes exposed?? Seems odd. Like maybe a wheel that's fits better. Someone else's thoughts please
The Payload may be increased on these, but the Curb Weight is likely quite higher and therefore will reduce the stock trucks Towing any trailer capability. Yes the Payload may be higher but getting that subtracts from the Towing. FYI: Payload Hauling is separate from Towing, and greater reduced Towing when you're Hauling more.
These trucks have a higher towing capacity and a higher payload capacity , you’ll be fine
@@yogiballa those are just words, maybe based on some common sense, but unless proven by DOT recertification, good luck with that conversation on the side of the highway with highway patrol.
Costs less than many sports cars. More useful and beautiful too! Similar mpg!
I keep debating on going for a truck bigger then a 3500 but how can this haul better with the same power output. I haul steep mountains on narrow roads in Northern California. Seriously who has the answer. Tuning a truck doesn't always help either. Should I just buy a 6500 chevy and have a real heavy duty
The suspension/frame allow it to handle more.
More power doesn't help you haul more. There is a reason you see commercial vehicles doing 35 mph up steep grades. They derate commercial vehicles on purpose.
Yeah! get the chevy if you want to be stranded in the middle of the desert 🤣
Spec a higher reduction ratio on your differentials, like 41:10 or 47:11 instead of the common 41:11. I know the BlueBird Visions with the 6.7 ISB Cummins have a 37:7 rear axle ratio, but that's because the 6.7 in the Vision is rated at a rather wimpy 260 HP.
It’s a 550
With 4.88 gear ratio with a 10
Speed
Not a fan of Ford or giant trucks, but these are cool as hell!
Are you also going to Alaska?
Yes he is doing the first leg of the trip
@@bmgbaby5867 so not all the way to Prudhoe Bay?
@@chrisgill7824 Could always answer your question by researching the video(s) that talk about it in depth.
can you put tracks on it
The F550 is a Raptor killer…even Tremor killer if it’s built right. Mine has a DBL super single conversion, Atlas front axle with locker, Kelderman air bag, Carli/King pintop, Carli suspension mods, MRAP wheels and tires, etc. etc. I can go places a F150 Raptor couldn’t and tow 80x more.
I would get one of these just to daily lol
Just awesome! Definitely not something I could afford unfortunately..
Do they offer a 12 year term?😅
I wonder if they make these for Rams
something may happen in the near future.
@@TFLnow Don't you mean, stay tuned? lol
@@TFLnow that would be awesome if they do. I'd be interested in bringing a cab and chassis Ram over to them.
Yes they are now offering a ram 5500
Explain to me how any of this even slightly compares to a Raptor? Couldn’t be more different
And they are 6 digits cheaper, than that z71 with a wipple that barely beat a oem rig? Jesus. I know if i was blowing that money which id be getting.
Are these trucks gasoline powered? That’s what exhaust looks like. $150K for gasoline?
I believe they said it was a Powerstroke
6.7 Powerstroke
they are all diesel.
They are the 6.7 diesel but I was wondering why the exhaust tip was the style of the gas..
Andre quit interrupting the guy!
why not a F600!?
I’ll take the XL raptor 🔥🔥
Price 🎉😂
180k$ fer a pick me up truck. My, how the times sure haf changed....
180k is cheap for a custom manufactured vehicle like these. Go back to your Hyundai Tucson and leave the real trucks to us.
I've never spent more than 2 mins to find a rock or log and throw it under the low wheel and level my vehicle. super cool trucks but I laughed when he said we've all spent 20-30minutes leveling our vehicles XD
Get a mic on the people you interview! Andre is loud and clear and Jeremy sounds far away.
This F-550 is a much nicer riding truck than my F-650 Super Truck.
Though I'm not a Ford 6.7L fan, it's a diesel that puts out respectable horse power and torque. My truck has a 5.9 Cummins, and an Allison transmission.
The price tag for what you're getting is about where I figured it would be.
6.7 been out for 10 years proven itself very reliable engine
$$$$
Great looking trucks but not $155,000 great / not your average person can buy
250k or better 🤔
You didn’t watch the full video … he gives prices on all of them.
Ya o thanks RAM is way better !!!
Looks good but I will stay with Ram .
Andre thinks any truck with a lift kit is a Raptor.
You all are talking more and more money . I think there are less and long distance camping because it is getting to much money to go ! Not everyone just puts the bill on their business!!
Look cheap, not the truck, the command for the suspension...
Never waste my money on nonsense
How can I orden one of this beast fellas anyone can give any information about it
