I love how the game shows how tired Chris looks, with the circles under his eyes and all. You can even tell from his attitude in the game that he sounds so...sick of everything - like he wonders if he even makes a bit of a difference in the end. He's been fighting bioterrorism for nearly 25 years - hoping to put an end to it only to have yet another outbreak to contain.
I'm a fan of Chris's squad. I hope Capcom use them in future games because we can do with young new characters now that the original characters are aging
Funny you should say that, because they kept the same actor and just modified his 3D model. His eyes and mouth are identical to Geordie's, eyebrows are similar, nose kinda, and they modified the rest to give Chris a wider, rough and weathered face. The haircut also helps conceal Geordie's traits and restore Chris's identity.

I really like how they show Chris being a smoker. It's a neat little reference to the original Resident Evil intro, where (at least in the uncut/japanese version) Chris is shown lighting a cigarette and taking a puff in a very similar fashion to how he does it here, he even uses a zippo lighter!

I wish Chris was more of a villain in this game, have him torture Ethan and his family because he finds out they are BOWs. Every Chris is mean cutscene is 10x better than when he's a "homie"
Mia infuriates me. She turns Ethan's life upside down, then pretends that what happened in Dulvey doesn't need closure lol. She's the literal worst. Yes I know it's Miranda, but if Ethan doesn't realize it's not her then that means they've had this conversation before and Miranda knew it.

They just post-processed the model so his face looks wider and his jaw a bit more pronounced, with a reworked nose region. I personally liked RE7 Chris. It made for a different look, which was a really welcome change in my opinion, but I'm the outlier rather than the norm.
