Carlos is the true winner of this remake. From all the Resident Evil sidekicks (Carlos, Steve, Billy, Ashley, Sheva, etc.) I always thought he was the most blank one of the franchise. But thanks to the Remake he kinda became my favorite from all of them! :D

I'm still confused by that scene, didn't Jill say that to Carlos when they first met, while they were walking to the subway train? When Carlos told her that he's part of UBSC, Jill replied angrily telling him Umbrella is the cause of the outbreak.

It's such an iconic line because Carlos says it with such a genuine tone without any context to Umbrella's deeds. This scene is such a good one, because it is acknowledges Carlos's growth as he learns the truth, but also Jill's character, and her trust in him
I really hope, Carlos will reappear in future RE games. Maybe he works as a mercenary in an B.O.W infected area, where he runs into Chris and Jill and they team up to stop some big baddy (maybe Nicholai? I doubt he died in Raccoon City). At the end of the game, he could join the BSAA. He would fit into the BSAA and maybe even the Silver Daggers unit. Also: I love his hair, it looks so fluffy :3
I totally agree they should bring Carlos back. Especially the way Umbrella fucked him and his team over. However, I doubt Nicolai survived. Unless he was able to find shelter from the nuclear blast within the seconds before impact, he's pretty much toast. Just my thoughts.
