I love that despite this, there still is no happy ending for these poor kids. Even the boy here doesn’t really look satisfied. They’re still stuck in the animatronic suits, and their supposed “friend” here was the one who trapped them. There’s been justice, but no happy ending

The boy is supposed to be Cassidy a.k.a Golden Freedy a.k.a Vengeful Spirit and if you play Ultimate Custom Night, when you play the game, you will see a kid's face on Game Over screen if you're lucky. Also, Golden Freddy is twitching in UCN, because allegedly there are 2 souls trapped in there, one is Cassidy the other one is Charlie or The Puppet or Lefty if I'm not wrong. While Charlie has been freed, Cassidy is still angry so there are 2 souls fighting if they want to be free or not

I think the part that makes this character so thrilling is the way Mathew Lilard portrays William Afton like it’s clear that he was born to play him he delivered the role so well 😁

I wonder how they will introduce the decayed Springtrap everyone knows and loves for the sequels. Afton's entrance as Spring Bonnie/The Yellow Rabbit in this first film was done so well, its going to be hard to top it.
I imagine a scene like this: some kids enter the abandoned pizzeria and exploring they find white eyes watching them in the darkness, after it appears like in the movie
Both yours and @abril1556 's idea on how Springtrap will be introduced are pretty good; and if I may, I'll try and stitch these two ideas together, so expect a rather long reply. Alright, here we go. }=)
It's been a few months since the old Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria suddenly collapsed and news got out about the one responsible for the missing children who died in the same pizzeria so long ago being killed during the collapse, the police quickly fenced the area off from the public too prevent anyone from entering the now structurally uncertain building killing them as well, while also leaving the corps of the killer inside the building because, well, he got what he deserved. However, five children, ages undetermined, managed to climb the fence and enter the decrepit pizzeria out of child wonder to explore old abandoned buildings, and to find the killer's body just because. . at least these five children had the good sense to bring flashlights and some safety gear; they enter the front door and look around the building for a while, lights are still flickering somehow, and the inside looks rather intact mostly. . then suddenly, their flashlights stops working and none of the children knows why, those flashlights were helping them avoid the rubble, so this is a difficult problem. One kid says that there must be a spare flashlight in the security guard's office, they can use that to help themselves get out, the other four are hesitant to go along with this plan for a few reasons, but with no other safe option to get out, they agree to go along. . one kid in the back of the group sees what looks like flickering lights, but something's off about these lights, he turns around cautiously and catches up with the rest of the group, those flickering lights follows where the kid went, and a faint growl happens not long after. The five children find themselves in the kitchen, nothing much here to look at, then they find what appears to be a storage room with the door opened, they look inside, and find a pool of blood on the ground, with big footsteps going from the pool and to the door, then out. . the leader of the group asks "Hey. . guys? Are you seeing this?" and they all said yes, then the kid who saw the flickering lights said "I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I think we're being followed, and it's whoever made these prints that's doing it." . . . a terrified silence falls upon the five kids. Collectively, they all agreed that they need to get out of there *now* , screw the flashlight and whatever injury they might get, they're leaving to save their own lives; they all make a frantic search for any kind of exit to get out of the pizzeria, then one said in a loud whisper "Guys, look, an exit door!" , they all turn around, sees the door, and dash towards it. All five kids managed to get out of the building and breathed a sigh of relief; as they made their way to where they climbed the fence, they noticed two things. . 1: the same bloody footprints they saw inside the pizzeria now outside. 2: Someone with big feet and large hands had climbed the fence, bending large chunks of it in the process, and the bloody footprints going past the fence. . . the five children knew they had to call the police and tell them that the killer's still alive and is roaming town. After climbing over the fence, the leader of the group quickly came up with a plan to tell the cops what they saw and not get into trouble for going into the decrepit building "We'll hide our gear underneath that big bush over there so that the cops won't see it- " , then another kid interrupted and asked "Well how are we going to get the police here and not get arrested anyways, saying 'Oh the guy who killed five children in the 80s somehow survived being springlocked in his own suit and crushed by a building for months got out' , that's going to sound suspicious as heck man!" , the leader pondered for a little while, the one who saw the flickering lights is busy comforting the two other children who're currently scared silent about everything they just witnessed, the the kid who pointed out the flaw in the leader's plan is just standing there waiting for an answer. Then, the group leader said "I got it; we'll tell the cops that we were on our way to the arcade when we found this and think someone broke into the building. The arcade is only five miles down that way, it closes at midnight and it's only 10PM, we told our parents that's where we were heading before we left, and we can still hide our gear under that bush to avoid going to jail for the same thing we're claiming." . . all the other kids agreed with the plan, they hid their gear, went to the nearest pay-phone, called the cops and waited for them to arrive. When the police arrived, they asked the children where they saw the footprints, they showed the cops, and soon one of the police officers was inside the building looking for any more damage and found the pool of blood; the cop inside the building radio'd his buddy and said "John. . . I think we have a serious problem on our hands." . . and just beyond the glow of the policemen's flashlight, in the pitch black woods, is a creaking, groaning, blood soaked yellow rabbit, trudging painfully through the forest, leaking blood from every joint. . then with another faint growl, it said " *_MiChAeL._* " as it kept painstakingly trudging through the forest, knife in hand. **role opening credits**

Idk, but this is extremely disturbing to watch…. While David (Golden Freddy) looks at the Dying William Afton, WEEKS after the encounter with Mike Schmidt…. He’s still groaning and moaning in pain, not being able to die…. I also love the little “Game Over” Jigsaw reference in the Movie..!! William attempts to get the child to trust him one more time, reaching out with a Twitchy Body…. Also, if you hear it closely, you can hear the SpringLocks Tearing into William’s body as he fully extended his arm out….

*Theory Time*
I believe (Because The SpringLock Suit only has Eight SpringLocks inside), Only SEVEN of them gave out…. All six went off in his Stomach, while one in the chest gave out…. But I believe the reason why William hasn’t died yet, was because one SpringLock didn’t Pierce his Heart…. And after the SpringLocks stab into the Victim, the Bleeding is usually slowed down due to the Wounds being Plugged by the Rods…. But you’re still bleeding out, VERY VERY slowly…. This has got to be (In My Own Opinion), One Of The Most Messed Up Endings In The Five Nights At Freddy’s Franchise…. Matthew Lilliard REALLY did a STUPENDOUS job portraying William Afton in this Movie, he really did bring the Character to LIFE..!! Especially because he couldn’t SEE out of his Costume, he relied on Tammy’s Direction to know where to go..!! And the way he Portrayed the SpringLock Failure, it’s SPOT ON..!! It almost makes THE VIEWER FEEL that EXACT same Pain as William Does, or any Employee who’s died because of these Dangerous But Fascinating Suits..!!

I saw two theories when the movie first came out, one saying that Michael is the vengeful spirit of UCN-and the other that the Golden Freddy Kid was Vanessa's brother, and he got killed similarly to Crying Child. I like to imagine this is a mix of both, and that GFK is keeping Afton alive as vengeance on his father.
If you watch it again I looked at this as Cassidy being happy like he gets to feel what they had but he quickly retracts that because he seems to see that it’s not working he should be dead so he shuts the door in a attempt to hopefully he will try to make a move for the door and make the springlocks do even more damage * if they will even do any more damage *
