- Finally, this is the Squale I always wanted! It has been a long time coming, I have lusted after the chocolate Squale Squalematic 60 ATMOS for too long. I just cant stop looking at these stunning colours, but it needs to deliver as a package to match the expectation and hype I see of the brand elsewhere around the watch world. So let's take a deep dive into this chunky orange and brown Swiss diver...

Squale is my favorite brand. I have the Matic and the Onda.

I just bought the 1521 with the blue dial. I absolutely love the orange minute hand! Its a great watch and they are coming out with a 1521 bracelet.

Very good review!! I love my Squale 50 Atmos and the Lume is good. As far as brown dials go I did have Steinhart diver but really didn’t care for the brown dial. 😊
I'm guessing the weak dial lume is specific to the squalematic with its smaller lume plots 🤔 ...cheers mate! 😎🍻
Keep an eye on the bezel screws once in a while. I've had the blue/white "Caribbean" 60 Atmos for about 18 months now and just yesterday... the bezel came loose and detached. I'd noticed the bezel riding "high," and the little screws had worked themselves back out in the course of normal wear. A fairly easy fix with a watchmaker's screwdriver, but watch for it. I might use some mild Loctite if it happens again. But overall it's a fantastic watch and I keep it in heavy rotation.

Suits you well & looks killer on the shark mesh , shame about the lume given their experience in the field but a nice looking piece regardless and a solid review .

Watch a bit on bigger size. Case a bit remind of 62mas but with crown at 4 - I like it!

Where did you get the shark mesh?
I bought it at StrapsCo - it's called the H-link shark mesh strap. I then changed the clasp on it for a nicer one from Aliexpress as I think the one it came with was bit cheap feeling 🙂👍

I think the dial and bezel orange is top shelf but that case is way too thick. I just reviewed my 30 Atmos and thats borderline at 13.5mm
Haha yep... definitely not getting a long sleeve over the crystal 😆...I hope to try the 30 soon 😎

If they changed their logo and font, would look much better, I bet. Beautful watch, but the lume is very disappointing for a dive watch, let alone a 600m dive watch.
I do personally like the logo and font but yep agreed, it's weird to engineer 600m on a case with a beautifully easy to operate bezel with wet gloves on and then skimp on the lume....so close to being fully fit for purpose 😎🙌 I guess it's just as well the washing up bowl is as close as mine gets to depth so I'll still have good light 😂

😂😂 yep 95% discount and a free gift if you phone up now and place your order 😉...I use the finger cots as its a finger print magnet with all the polished surfaces, and they ruin the shots under studio lights. All about the details on this channel, and I'll use them again if I have to 😎🍻

@@nextonthewrist lol, yeah you're right, Squale in Italian means shark, I live in Spain and the English are terrible at pronunciation, instead of saying it as you do I imagine the majority of English speakers will pronounce it 'Squail' (rhyme with whale) and as for the 'shark' logo, it looks more like something you'd see at a fishmongers 😂 but that said, it is a cool looking watch, if they made the shark a bit more.....sharky!!

Great video. I picked up my 1521 with the mesh bracelet, but only because the price was the same as with a leather strap. There is not much of micro adjustment, so if the mesh bracelets you already have are of a good size for you, there is no way I can recommend paying extra for a Squale mesh.
That's good to know because I was seriously considering it for the sake of having the official bracelet if you like - but I'll stick with what I have instead I think. Cheers for letting me know 😎🍻
