They didn't even bother with making rain effect on helmet view.
It's just a loop animation.
2006 offered the most realistic effect while driving F1. This one just does rain drop while standing still.

That's why we get these ridiculous F1 games year by year because guys like you feel perfectly satisfied with inaccurate tracks, arcade physics, a decade old graphics engine and craps like f1 life, devon butler etc.
