I don't really need a refresher on this anymore. Just makes me feel good to watch you and Jeremy Cioara talk about this stuff. =) Takes me back to when I was learning all of it. 👍
Thank you Rick Hollmer!
Thanks keith, in every video of urs, i got to knw small things which i was not taking care earlier.. thanks for all ur time man ...
Happy to do it, thanks for the feedback Khalid Ansari.
Thank you, Keith! Beautiful explanation.
Glad it was helpful!
Keith is so cool!
Awesome as always. Thank you.
Thank you too!
Thanks Keith, some of your videos in which you review a topic again some times seems much better than some of the CBT content. Still both are very good. Also if you can make more Lab scenarios on Packet tracer/EVE-NG or GNS3 would be great. Also love if you make some more CCNP level content on CZcams as well.
I agree with Hamza. More CCNP content would be useful.
Nice one Keith. 👍🏻
That is a great video, you make spanning tree simple to understand. Thank you from Winnipeg
You are very welcome
Thanks KB for good explanation ......
Happy to do it, thanks for the feedback Sydney Kumbani.

KEITH!!!! I've got some news you might be interested to hear...
...I PASSED MY CCNA! :) Thank you for your amazing content! I'll polish up some areas where I'm not as strong as I'd like to be, and then: onwards for the CCNP! :)
Have a great weekend!
Congratulations!!! Way to go.

Thank you very much! Keep up the great work! Your videos are a LOT better than many of the paid trainings. It's crazy that this can be the case! Have a nice weekend! :)
I am sure it has been ask before but I have to ask. What editor are you using to Telnet/ssh into your network devices, that console you are using is so beautiful !
Boss,
Any update about the latest CCIE enterprise infrastructure one? Do they ask you to use DNAC and SD-WAN to deploy devices? The reason I am asking is that I do not have access to Cisco DNA for practice.
Thanks
You chose sw2 as root in your example, but in a production network, which switch should i choose to be the root. The one closets to primary workstations, or maby the one with most grund links ???
Hello. Is STP used in 3-tier campus topologies as well? Because if the access layer switches connect (only) to distribution layer switches (and not to each other), and the distribution layer switches are also the default gateways (so L3 devices), then how could there be loops? No L2 devices are connected redundantly.

Thanks Keith, which terminal are you using with Eve-ng?
Thank you for the question Muhammad Nazir. I am using Secure CRT in this video.
Keith I thought the title how to troubleshoot Spanning loop during office hour
11:51 What would be an example where the third tiebreaker, which is the lowest neighbor internal port number, would be used? Wendell Odom's Volume 1 book on page 222 lists as the third criteria: "Choose based on the lowest neighbor internal port number."
A scenario for that would be when there are 2 connections, between the same 2 switches.

Thank you very much, for this answer as well as all of the other amazing content! :)
Thanks. This shows I'm no where near ready for the test. Smh.
You got this!
which simulation software is this??
Thank you for the question labib muhthasim. I used Eve-NG for this one.
Hi Keith. Can you please tell me what device you're using to write and draw on text that's on your computer? I'd like to take notes in the PDF books that I'm reading. Thank you.
This this packet Tracer modded or something dirrerent?
Thank you for the question John Gulde. I used Eve-NG for this, but Packet Tracer could have been used as well.
The reason for the ports in blocking state was not clear
Thank you for the question Ubi.
If there are 2 switches, with 2 or more connections between them, and no STP is running (meaning no blocking of ports), there would be a layer 2 loop, which leads to broadcast storms and networks that become unstable.
