Coil change outs and installs, do you do yourself or do you always try to get help?
7 years of use on that evaporator coil doesn't sound so great. It had a lot of corrosion throughout it's metal parts for just a few years. No wonder HVAC is expensive, parts are being replaced under warranty so the customers are paying for the failed parts up front, one way or another, during the warranty periods. You would think they would improve so they could retain all of the revenue they bring in on sales vs. blow it on warranty claims. This attic unit is the first one I believe I have seen on this channel that was hung from the rafters. I see many of them on blocks or those metal "feet" that tend to transfer the noise/vibration into the ceiling of the structure making them louder than when they are hung. That secondary pan shouldn't have any water stains on it if the primary drains are working normal, correct? Good job on the recharge...

Hi, Walter I had a 15 year old 5 ton Lennox XC16 air conditioner from 2009, it wouldn’t keep cool under 80 upstairs. For 2 summers it was hot and miserable, I also had a 2018 4 ton goodman air conditioner it didn’t keep downstairs cool enough.”

I now my upstairs thermostats at a cool 78!!! I’d rather be cool and comfortable than burning up. Especially here in south Texas, you definitely ned the air conditioner!!! I see you. Nice. I have videos of me using my vacuum rig. I feel that if I can pull a vacuum down to 500 microns, it doesn't matter whether I pull it through the manifolds or not, as long as the system is sealed.
