I the love way you talk about and display the black female action figures. You even talk about the detail of the braids on Nakia and Ironheart. Because of you I might just collect some of those figures.
My favorite marvel legends figures are the movie version of the characters. I like the actors and I like seeing them in figure form. Wakanda Forever was a great movie. Namor was so cool, and Shuri was a badass. Loved your review.
My ranking of this wave would go: 6.)Everett Ross (the highlight is the head sculpt. But it’s time for hasbro to retire the chameleon body mold) 5.) Okoye (nice update compared to the BAF version. However I don’t need to buy this figure again since I had an okoye figure previously. I only wanted to buy this and Everett Ross just for the build a figure pieces and not really the figure.) 4.) Nakia (Head sculpt is way better compared to the previous version. The legs on this figure could use some work when it comes to female figures) 3.) Iron Heart (I don’t usually put the deluxe figures on my ranking lists since they don’t have a build a figure piece. They’re part of the movie, sure. I’m curious to see what role will her armor play in the movie. Once her show does debut, we’ll definitely get another iron heart figure but a different armor) 2.) Attuma build a figure(Happy to add a character I’m not very familiar with in the collection. I do wish he came with a pair of fists as well as an interchangeable head without the breathing apparatus because I want to see his face. He would’ve been #1 if I was more familiar with the character. I do hope he gets a significant role in the movie considering he’s the BAF for this wave and not be one of those characters who didn’t get much screen time (for example, Rintrah). 1.) Namor (When I saw this at SDCC. This was the figure I was looking forward to the most and I think Tenoch Huerta is going to kill this role as Namor.) I do think this wave of figures look cool, it feels incomplete without a Shuri or an MCU Black Panther. I did see a tease from NYCC when the hasbro team showed which appears to look like a female black panther figure. I do think that’s shuri. I do think this wave did justice better than the Thor love and thunder wave and the doctor strange multiverse of madness wave. But it still falls short just because I think that Disney plus infinity ultron wave as well as the Disney plus konshu wave has a lot of excitement compared to this wave and the other waves we’ve seen before.
