Run masking tape parallel with the seam leaving just a sliver of plastic exposed on each side of the seam. This will keep the putty from going everywhere. Remove when dry. Way easier to sand .

+Martin Damek the figure looked great and far better than anything I could achieve. There are some great books out there which illustrate figure modelling techniques , but capturing the lrocess on film would be a big a help
After i bought tamiya putty, after a few weeks/months, it started to be less and less like a fluid, it starting being dry when i squished it out of container. And there was a hardened layer on top so if i touched it my hands would get putty on them. Help!
I thought milliput was awesome, until I painted it with Tamiya paint, it then chalked and flaked off. Tamiya is nice but it dries very fast and needs lacquer thinner to keep it fluid. Vajello putty is awesome!!!!

With what to clean the brush after Mr. Dissolved Putty? I tried enamel thiner and/or benzin..didn't work.
Any lacquer based thinner will work

milliput should be green when you mix the blue and yellow not only yellow
Green stuff is yellow and blue. Standard Milliput is yellow and gray.
