About you is STUNNING. The female vocal (who I believe is Adams wife) works perfectly and makes it feel so nostalgic. the perfect follow up to robbers

Hearing About You for the first time gave me the same feeling I got when I first heard Robbers for the first time. Carly's vocals were amazing. This whole album threw me back to their self titled album and I felt a whole lot of things I haven't felt for a long time. They never miss and this was one of the best albums they have had in a while. Oh Caroline has to be one of my favs
I'm so curious if you've ever listened to Hozier's work. His lyrics hit like a truck and he has such a gorgeous voice. I'd love to see reactions to the two albums he has out so far. A third is on its way! :D

In one of their interviews they said that a lot of the time they purposely played instruments that they didn’t know how to play throughout the album!! That’s how they got those “creepy” sounds on part of the band lol

i think this is my favorite 1975 title track - typically i don’t ever listen to them or come back to them unless i am listening to one of the albums from start to finish, however i am continuing to come back and actually listen to this one. i listened to matty and george on a podcast recently where they went over different demos and how it was produced, etc. and it was awesome. the way he sings “it’s about time, and this is what it looks like” scratches an ITCH in my brain i LOVE IT. and oh caroline is probably my favorite - it is SUCH a classic 75 song.

I genuinely think this is The 1975’s best album, and will age so beautifully. Its the most concise and cohesive record they’ve made. However, I understand why others like some of their previous albums better because of the different vibes or songs that are on them. I still think ILIWYS is my personal favorite, but BFIAFL is their best piece of work. The concert was also PERFECT. So energetic and everyone was so into it and just enjoying the moment.

this is the most unique 1975 album there is, and it just grows on me more and more day by day. they’re my favorite band so i was bound to like it i suppose, but i genuinely think this is their best work in a while.
i got to see them live yesterday. it was my 5th time. matty performed like it was the last show of his life, and he looks SO HEALTHY. not to mention, the band was phenomenal as always, and the two girls they have on tour with them are BADASS. johns sax solos were perfect, and the interaction as friends was beautiful. the show told a story, and the stage was amazing! this is their best album yet, and they just keep getting better!

The 1975 is no doubt one of the greatest bands to ever exist in the modern generation. Apart from Matt Healy, you can see the talent and appreciation for music being fostered by all other members of the band itself. Now that they’ve got a new album in their hands, it’s bound to inspire others to really express themselves without having to worry about what other people may think about them.

Idk if someone’s commented this already but I learned that this is an album that can be looped. If u listen closely to the end of “When We Are Together” the ending transitions perfectly into “The 1975.” It’s dope!

I’ve loved The 1975 for years, they got me through high school! this album was definitely my favorite of the past 3. it’s so beautiful and unique. About You made me cry, brought me right back to my hs years, listening to Robbers in my bedroom. Wintering is definitely my favorite on the album!

When I listened to All I Need To Hear for the first time I cried so much, because I knew that I wanted it as my first dance song. Exact same reaction as you, it just feels like a wedding song. It's such a gorgeous song and it just has this almost magical feel to it!

Listened to this album for the first time while I was waiting for midnights to be released and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the sound of it is. The production and instrumentals are so atmospheric and cinematic. Btw, are you going to listen to Louis's new album, Faith In the Future? It exceeded all my expectations and gave hit after hit!

As a producer and guitar player, The 1975 are my favorite band ever and I'm inspired by them so much. I'm seeing them live for the first time next week and am so excited. I can't wait to experience this and them at their very best in person. Literally have a note in my notes app for things to listen for and see how they do live. It’s an absolute masterpiece ❤ not on this album but “somebody else” has had me in a chokehold since it was released it unearths so many emotions. Their music really puts you in the feels!
