@@El_pouleto i am 100% sure this glitch is not patched yet, you just have to get the movement right. It's really difficult, try using only the buttons, make your finger slide from x to y and b at just the right timing
Oh OK i used y to the ground pound...
@@El_pouleto ground pound, press x at the right timing (if you press it too fast you do a down-throw and you just wanna roll) a quarter of a second after slide your thumb from from x to y and b.

Up until this video the best advice i found for this glitch was a to 'place your thumb vertically on the controller and press'. I assumed this was the button order anyway, but thank you for proving myself right.

Woah this is insane! How much time will this save?
MrJimmysteel25 as of now for Any% it hasn't changed things TOO much, but there are some time savers, primarily used in the Sand Kingdom. Its being used much more for the 503 category and minimal capture runs. For myself personally I cant do it consistantly enough to use it in runs yet but hopefully down the road I will be able to!

DGR can you mke a separate video of the places you can use this glitch
From what I've seen it can save about 3-5 or 6 minutes
If ur speed running it will save 4 mins or sometimes 9 if you find better places
If you keep throwing the cap downwards, wait longer between landing the ground pound and beginning to roll.
Awesome. Can't wait to try this out. Also, another challenge idea is doing anything invisible. So if you are out of ideas, just do a waterless challenge invisible, or something like that.

has to be specific walls. like ones with slopes, for example early race clip.

Nothing to do with the wall. It depends on if there is a particular type of sloped surface next to the wall.

They made it frame perfect apparently so you got to press the buttons frame perfectly to get the glitch to work

dave have you found the glitch in the sand kingdom you have to get a seed and go to the inverted pyramid when it is in the ground have to throw the seed into the ice and the seed should glitch out go inside the ice.try it

Can someone tell me if this glitch was patched in the EU version? Because at this point, I really don't think I am doing anything wrong. I jump ground pound, shake, and time my press of y+b at the same time to happen exactly when he would bonk the wall. Sometimes he even does the roll animation and the cancel without bonking against the wall when I'm right in front of it. Out of my... about 100 tries, I can't believe that none was fast enough. So, does this not work with every wall, was it patched in the Pal version, or am I just too bad?

It works on weirdly shaped walls. The clip is done on kind of a sloped surface and doesn't work on a perfectly flat wall.
An easy example is in Cascade Kingdom where you can clip through a wall on a rock, both being shaped weirdly
I did not just spend 1 hour trying to get through the Wooded Kingdom gate that leads to secret flower field before beating the Broodals :P

The Madame blow in the Cascade Inn though sometimes because of the cat from CRC and I try to clip her down so many times in caskets and now I keep tried over and over again and I get it like very happy is is it in Mario and fair in the game so you got it how to go on try to do the switch on a dime I was around there on a dime because I know how did I die there since I was out of bounds I see a fox by the lock there and back that’s kind of a good thing to do I bounce sometimes I don’t get up doesn’t count kids because the first section of Cascade kingdom is like a hard thing to do to keep them it’s it’s a hard one

So i just looked it up and apparently in the latest version of mario odyssey wall clipping is a lot harder
