I didn’t say I wouldn’t give thé respect but capitulation and knee bending where’s the balance for me to throw my culture away to give their culture respect? You see how this is very one sided and there is no way for balance without having honest communication on the culture differences. Crazy to think you would for go love and happiness just to suit elders and traditions over a union you seek to build.
