- In this very special video I'm lucky enough to chat to the CEO of the Liseberg amusement park located in Gothenburg Sweden. Along with overseeing Liseberg, Andreas is also the president of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA),
In this exclusive video I talk to Andreas about his work at Liseberg over the past few years including the growth of Halloween at the park. Along with that Andreas also shares future plans for the park including details on the huge new hotel and water park project that's coming in the next few years.
Andreas also talks about his love for theme parks and the various different parks and attractions he has visited around the world. A huge thank you to Andreas for wanting to appear in a video of ours and also give us an insight into the future of Liseberg!

I visited Liseberg as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s with a visit in the early 2000s. Great memories of a lovely park. Lisebergbanan is a great ride, so rerideable. Fond memories of Liseberg's Loopen, the Flume Ride, Villa Opp å Ner, UFO23 and of course the giant chocolate bars! I went agsin a couple of weeks ago firvthe first time in over 20 years. Still a few of the old favourites, but some great new rides too! Atmosfear was fun! Considerably faster coming down than it used to be! 😂 Great video by way!

Mr. Andersen is an absolute genius! I have to commend him on his insanely creative usage of space, for example being able to cram a multi launch coaster into the space of a motion simulator and weaving it around multiple other attractions on the hill; Helix is one of the best coasters in the world and IMO is a huge crowd pleaser.
He really is a fantastic CEO, it was great to chat to him
Great interview and interesting. IMHO Valkyria is better then Valravn it might be smaller but packs a better punch and has a more dynamic track layout. Then the restraints are much better too.
Nice guy pleased he gave you the time for the interview, wish other parks would see the hard work you do and reward you in a similar manner.

I live in Gothenburg and i love Liseberg. One thing about it that i believe is very unique is that the park is owned by the city of Gothenburg,
so all the profit goes back to the city. Because of that the park sometimes arrange special opening for citizens that would not be able to pay/go to the park otherwise.
I think that is amazing and i dont know any other theme park in the world that is run in that fashion. As an expert, do you?

She's pretty good for giving interviews on her park too so it's not as far fetched as it seems. I think I'd be a stumbling mess meeting her though.

Hey Shaun today I went to Alton towers scarefest and went on thirteen and I was near the back of the coaster but at the front was Alex crump and I was so surprised but happy to see him. I don't know why I didn't say hello to him I was too nervous. And on Galactica I saw jo from some of your videos and it was cool to see him too.

Nicely edited. Did you mean to put the person you were interviewing in shadow? It was artistic, but if you swapped seats we could've gotten a better look at the guy. Still, it conveyed an air of mystery. Yes, you're definitely movin' on up.

Hyperion Park, hopefully this showed him that they should build a comparable coaster, to that day they maybe already planned the next coaster like he told they did with valkyria.
