Play another Scooby Doo game for Halloween
The physics in this game is still impressive.
Especially at 13:30 the way that guy hangs on to the edge is super impressive for a game made in 2008.
For reference, they do use the same physics engine as GTA 4
The physics are by far the best thing about this game
@@MrRagingMammothwait Fr?
@@jordanthenephilim7476 Yes, they use the same version of Euphoria as in GTA4!
It's euphoria engine baby. One of the best and most complex animation engines. Love it.
There isn't a morality system, but there's a light-side ending (which leads into the sequel) and a dark-side ending (which leads into the DLC) based on the character you decide to fight at the end of the game.
It's my favorite Star Wars story.
Guy starts out good, gets kidnapped and raised by evil, finds his roots again and becomes good. It's just perfect.
I had the PS2 version as a kid. Might be my most replayed game ever - there was no level select so I had to restart the game every time I beat it.
I had that too I could not stop playing
I think PSP version is better 🤔
I never knew it was on ps2 my first exp with it was the Xbox 360
It's better than this version in my opinion. This version is frustrating, with frustrating boss battles and combat isn't all that great on the PS3 and 360 version.
The PSP version is the best, but the Wii, PS2, and Nintendo Switch version is also great, as they are the same, just without the PSP version bonus content.
Also, the PSP version can be played on PS Vita as a downloadable version on the PSN store, at least until that version of the PSN store shuts down.
I don’t know how mindpulp does it, but every time I find myself sad or slipping into a depressive epidemic, mindpulp always releases a video just when I need a good laugh in life
Glad we could provide a laugh 😁😁
@@MindPulp there is never an unfunny video you make. Too much funny
yeah same, Im glad they didnt listen to that random guy who didnt want them to have fun, like wtf
Before Disney ruined Star Wars gaming…there was another… EA!!! NOOOOO!!!
What exactly is a "depressive epidemic"
Fun fact: there was a ps2 version of this game, that is usually regarded as the best version of the forced unleashed, having played the ps2 version as a kid, there is no other experience like it.
It was the era where the game you play is different based on what console you had. Another example was Spider-Man 3 as the ps2 and ps3 versions were different. I liked the ps2 version of this game also
Best version should be the PSP version if you disregard the graphics.
It even got a multiplayer mode and its quite fun.
@@ZinxmeI believe the wii ps2 and psp versions were all the same but I think the psp version had an exclusive battle mode if I remember rightly
Yes, the PS2 versions of some games were far better at the time, more fun to play. For PS3 the only appeal were the graphics.
Having played the PS2 version... it's not better.

I know this isn't Battlefront, but seeing these graphics flooded me with flashbacks of Battlefront and Battlefront 2. Time to redownload it on Steam for the 100th time...
I think my favorite moment in the game is when Starkiller’s droid finally goes rogue and tries to kill him, using some bosses you’ve fought before. After a few phases, SK goes “it’s no use! There’s no one in there I haven’t fought before,” only for it to go “Oh, but Master, I do have ONE you haven’t fought before; one I’ve been holding onto for many years,” and brings out freaking Darth Maul!
I was so hyped when I saw that as a kid man.. good memories
Man I wish they would do a remake of this game it deserves it
Super deserved
Too bad disney wouldn't allowed
They weirdly 'remastered' the wii version for the switch quite recently
@@TheNobodysChild I know I was talking about the PlayStation/Xbox version sorry the wii version sucked so bad lol
@@kingofravens215respectfully, the Wii version is the best version out of all the versions I've played imo
This was a good game! I remember force grip on Kota and throw him to enemies in the Cloud City level
I love how it goes from the super serious scene of Vader ending Starkillers master and taking him as an apprentice - to a gonk droid being thrown while screaming like Homer Simpson
4:24 I agree we need fun Ragdolls back in videogames. Also havock and euphoria engines were used in the force unleashed, same as GTA4 and skate (a bunch of triple A games used it at the time)
skate had Euphoria? 🤔
Mind Pulp playing a great game is like a fine delicacy of a meal, it only happens ever so rarely
This game is amazing! I first played it on the PSP and then gave it a go on the PS3. It's like playing 2 different games with the same title.
I played this CONSTANTLY on my DS! I also played the Wii version and I remmeber that SO fondly with the fun controls, new characters, etc. I actually only played this console version a year or two ago. But all versions of this game give me so much nostalgia!
This game actually used 3 engines for their ragdolls and environmental destruction. Havok, Euphoria and DMM (Digital Molecular Matter). The engine demos for TFU got me super hyped back then and Euphoria, which is responsible for ragdolls dynamically grabbing onto each other for example is actually acquired or at least used in Rockstars Rage Engine since GTA 4.
If you guys want a better experience of the game, play either the ps2 or wii version. Not only does it have more passion towards them but there are multiple challenges, more characters, more lightsaber colors, more planets to visit, but it's a lot of fun and doesn't feel at all rushed like this version
Yeah, no that's not true at all. The PS2/Wii version does have more levels... but they are shorter and WAY more repetitive than the PS3 version's levels. The combat and camera are also nowhere near as tight.
@@AllardRT starkiller freaking ragdolls throughout the game
@@TheLiesOfReality Try dodging, that's a good trick.
@@AllardRT kinda hard when the characters use cheaty attacks. The other one I at least could overpower them by using awesome combos without having Starkiller move like the nobodies from Kingdom Hearts 2
@@TheLiesOfReality Yeah, pressing the dodge button is a forgotten art these days. Not to mention using the lightning shield.
Awesome combos? In PS2 TFU? Get out. And do tell me how you overpowered the jetpack troopers with them, that I would really love to hear.
Crazy, I JUST picked this game up and got in the car to this gem of a video!
I played this CONSTANTLY on my DS! I also played the Wii version and I remmeber that SO fondly with the fun controls, new characters, etc. I actually only played this console version a year or two ago. But all versions of this game give me so much nostalgia!
I played it on the Wii as well! It was different than the other versions. The whole Kysheek level had the 501st clone troopers fighting with Darth Vader and it was at night. The whole map was different as well
Republic Commando is up there for Star Wars games, but its a tough tactical shooter, even on pc. You really have to place your squad in the correct positions and formations to win fights.
This game needs a remaster badly. What a classic Star Wars game this was
Or just make it avaliable to purchase
@@nobleskywalker4639 you can buy it on steam and nintedo switch for 20 usd
The enemies hanging onto each other, that feature is hysterical 😂😂
Darth Vader has the force choke for a brutal kill I wanted to see more in this video lol. Choking stormtroopers especially felt so iconic and fun 😂
Mind pulp thing makes me do the jiggy
I played this game on the ps2 as a kid.
Oh, such a nostalgia trip for me. Absolutely played this game for so many playthroughs - if you care to know, Kazdan Paratus is only vulnerable to lightning attacks because of his droid leg rig - shock him to stun before attacking with anything else.
A great game from the PS3 era with a story written by James Gunn you should play is Lollipop Chainsaw. I personally have it on 360 and it's a really fun game where it blends humor from both old early 2000s movies and anime. It's just all around a fun game that I think you'd love.
By 2000 movies you mean the zombie trilogy of George Romero and Lucio fulci zombie movies?
Is goo
I been hoping for a Lollipop Chainsaw remaster or remake or sum

Man its always so fun seeing you guys play anything. The Force Unleashed is such a great Star Wars game
One of the greatest Star Wars games ever in my opinion I mean we had this and the battle front games we had it all before jedi fallen order
This was such a fun game as a kid
i just found y’all and i’ve never wanted to thank anyone more. the chemicals i get from these videos is pure bliss. nostalgia feels good
Where are Purple Moment™ crew at?
This game actually did come out on ps2. Also the game uses the euphoria engine which is the same physics engine gta iv uses.
And GTA V, but we don’t talk about GTA V’s version… that version sucks.
20:53 when i was kid i thought this character was coverton from monsters vs aliens tv show.
20:18 your humor is the only reason I watch most of these.
Love the member berries reference in the beginning.
Y’all remind me so much of the buddy “let’s plays” of 2010-2015 CZcams…I miss those days🥲
One of the exceedingly few games I preordered and waited until midnight to get. It was so worth it!
Of course, back then you could be more sure that a new game was going to be fun, not at all like today~
Jedi Outcast/Academy in VR is a downright revelation. Motion controlled force push/pull, even lightsaber throwing feels legit real. Combined with realism violence and graphics mods it's absolutely amazing. Runs on Quest 2 also with no PC required.
This was my favorite game when it came out. I remember discovering that you could just use force push to bounce the bridges that the Wookies were on and they would fly up and down like Rocket Racoon did to the Ravagers in Guardians 2. There was a fun achievement called Worst Day-Shift Manager Ever for killing 12 Stormtroopers as Darth Vader. I loved how it allowed you to make choices to go Jedi or Sith and had different endings. I bought all the DLC and beat it multiple times on different difficulties. The part where you had to pull down the Star Destroyer using the force was epic!
I had this on Wii and I i freaking loved punching the air to do Force Push and swinging the Wiimote around to chop fools up. So much fun.
That AT-AT you crushed into a ball faded away into a force ghost.
The Wii version of this game really hit different when I was a wee young lad
I loved this game so much. I played the demo, the DEMO, on 360 for hours and hours before I was given the game on my birthday.
Wow crazy as I’ve not long finished replaying force unleashed 1 and 2 for the millionth time. I absolutely love these games as have so many memories playing them when I was younger and damm their so fun. Awesome video as always !! 😄
That boss at the end is pretty much dumpster grievous.
I always come back to this game once in a while. wish there were more force power upgrades but its still a fantastic franchise
Ram Kota: "a Boy, months of attacking impirial tagets, and vader sends a boy to fight me?"
Mace Windu: "MUDAFUKA!!!"
Love this is a kid and still holds up today even if she’s a big *rag doll noises*
This game was actually praised pretty highly on the Wii. Y’all should give it a playthrough in the future.
"I'm just talking about the palette; Brown!"
*Proceeds to show a garish green photo*
This is one of my favorite Star Wars games that takes place in the Legends EU timeline! It was how the rebellion started a lot more interesting than in canon. With a kid Darth Vader took with him after killing his father code naming him Starkiller and planned to use him to root out Palpatine's enemies. Afterwards Starkiller decided to rescue them and his sacrifice inspired Bail Organa Mon Mothma Leia and the others to found the rebel alliance to overthrow the empire. Then in the second game the rebel alliance was a little more stronger than in canon. Also Vader used a very convincing Starkiller clone, or I think it was the real thing alive after all.
Anyway I really wish they would make a third The Force Unleashed game that continues where the second one left off.
More Star Wars! Do a special series that go through every Star Wars game you can aquire!
I remember playing this game when I was a kid as I both played it on the Nintendo DS and the Wii. Both were a blast to playthrough as I did my best to work my way to the top right before I finally get my chance to challenge Darth Vader and emperor palpatine in the final level of the game, my favorite part of the game. I really wish that Lucas film could do a live action force unleashed movie in the future, it will be awesome for star wars fans to see it in the big screen and feel amazed about due to their nostalgia. Can't wait for mind pulp to do "Scarface: The world is yours" review, that game would be awesome for the guys to check them out for themselves. Keep up the good work, Mind Pulp, you deserve it. 😎👍
You guys are hilarious. Don't change a thing. Except maybe make your videos longer lol
AcTuAlLy! If Vader tries to use FoRcE LiGhTNinG he will die because his suit is built so that Palpatine could reduce his powers and keep him in check with his own lightning. And Vader has rowbot hands, force lightening cant be generated by rowbots.
so close to racer revenge, youre almost there!
dude i fucking love this game, recently emulated this on my pc, specifically the psp version from my childhood and that shit was a blast
What a moment to still breath, now, I NEED this fellas to play Def Jam fight for NY, that's just an awesomw PS2 classic

I remember it all it is literally the best there's nothing better than feeling completely overpowered with all the force power and incredible combos.
Just a shame old games like this had separate cutscenes without costume changes
4:50 Actually in a bizarre twist. the Wii version of this game had MORE content than the PS3/360 version.
It had extra levels including boss fights against visions of ancient Sith Lords. And a multiplayer mode.
The force unleashed games were always my favorite Star Wars games and story in general.
I was so upset that you guys had fun and were funny. But seriously, no Purple Rain anything?
8:36 Not the Gonk Droid!
I actually loved the PSP version of The Forced Unleashed more than the PS3 version. The force felt like it had more impact, the game had a lot more missions, and each mission had a boss at the end as well. Incredible.
21:32 here I wonder if that character was a reference to the famous lightsaber kid from youtube
So many good times, had this game on, legit, Wii, 360, AND PS3. Oh and Switch
Starkiller yelling in these games is both great and hilarious
This was the first game i got for the Xbox 360 and was the reason I was able to get one. I only had the OG but I wanted it so bad. Somehow my mom understood despite her previous arguments about xbox live.
So for it being the only game I had for the system, it held its own quite well.
I had so much fun playing the Wii version back in the day! I can imagine how dorky I looked role playing as starkiller just obliterating my enemies!
We need a part 2. This is just a lot of fun to watch,
Nice to see you guys play and enjoy a genuinly good game. 😊
Thats my alltime fav star wars game, same stage with OG Battlefront 2
Knights of the old republic is my favorite star wars game.
5:13 that wookiee is getting a bath.
6:49 completely killed me 🤣🤣🤣
I only ever rented the PS2 version and never got far. Even to this day I never bought or finished this game. I did got to play Force Unleashed 2 and really liked it. The Wii version is way more fun and much much longer than the PS3 version.
Force Unleashed when I saw the clips of Starkiller and the fights with Vader was so mind blowing to me.
drinking game: take a shot every time mind pulp do the “cwinge” voice
I played this on the 360. This was my favorite star wars game
Vader only uses force lightning once in a fit of rage, and it wasn't the normal way.
The nonchalant “ow :/“ 💀 20:47
Sam Witwer the actor who played Vader's apprentice, is a big Star Wars fan.
RoTS tie in game, this game and the OG Battlefronts are the pinnacle of PT era SW games
Another game that I played tonnes of is the PSP elite squadron. I loved that game
„Give me the Force unleashed 2 video!!!“ muffled in Dobby voice.
Pretty dope. I was sure they were gonna hit Mace Windu with the... PURPLE LIGHTSABER, PURPLE LIGHTSABER
The Lambda-class shuttle is the pickup truck of the Imperial Fleet

I just got a 360, might have to pick up a copy of this or the sequel.
Lets put into perspective that starkiller is strong enough to pull down a star destroyer from orbit. Oooh plot armor strong with this one
I thought it was coming down anyway or is that in the second one
@@Joyful_Traitor
It was already coming down, He mainly just redirected/steered it.
I could've sworn this game allowed dismemberment with the lightsaber. Like dynamic dismemberment.
I remember buying it for the pa2 back then. Back when games for last gen were completely different from next gen. World at War is a good example of that
Check out the Endor DLC for the Force Unleashed II. Drop-kicking Ewoks is one of the most satisfying things ever
I think I've this game in my steam backlog and never played it lol, but you guys made me really wanna play it
