SparklingChar I put a small thick paper band where the pad goes and you can slide the back of the pad into the sleeve. That way when the pad is gone the person can refill it. I made a lot of my paper pad holders like that.
What I did do is put an extra piece of paper on the back of the pad to made it a little sturdier.
