Hey Deanna, I don't think I commented on this video earlier but I love it. I have set up a wholesale account with Darice and purchased a bunch of these memo/shopping list pads and have started to make them. I plan to sell some at any Craft Fairs I can get into and in my Etsy store onde I can get it going. Right now the store is on hold because I think I'm going to be having Shoulder replacement surgery in the next few weeks. Just waiting to hear back from my new doctor. I've already had one tell me I needed it. Anyway, being right handed it will really slow me down if I try to pack orders with just my left hand. Back to your project, I found another video before I remembered this one so I'm combining the two of them. I'm adding an accordion folded envelope/pocket to one side of the cover for coupons etc... The rest I'm following your directions. Thanks for sharing. I hope your Mom is feeling much better by now. I'm keeping her in my prayers.
Love these ideas u have. Got some pads like those n now i have a great idea what to do with them. Also check Big Lots for those who want a laminating machine. Got mine yrs ago when i worked there n it works great. In their office supply area i can find large sheets pretty cheap as well. Thank you..💋💗
Great idea, love how they come out !! I scored yesterday at Michael's, the had these fake leather planner covers, with the elastic and one paper insert in the clearance isle ! No bar code or price, so after much looking for price , I got them for $1.50 each !! Going to make these for friends at Christmas!!! Now I have one more item to add to it, Thank you !!!
Oh my gosh I finally figured out how to make comments, I am super thrilled. You are the first one I get to reply to. Love all your videos, and how you explain step by step to do them. Thank you so much for sharing your great creations, and having the facebook page.
I just found this tutorial and I LOVE it! I've been looking for an easier way to make a durable cover for a small legal pad and I think this will work great! Thank you so much for sharing. I always love your videos.
Brilliant, love these, Laminating makes them so much stronger. You got a real bargain at the store, I am off shopping this morning must keep my eyes peeled!!
Oh how I love this idea. Making these for sure. They will make great stocking stuffer for my girls. I need you as a neighbor/friend, someone to craft with. 📒🏷📎✂️
Great idea, I’m new to paper crafting so I don’t have all the equipment you have. But love the way you explain everything it’s very easy to follow. Thanks for sharing! 😀
So glad you didn't have staples cut your paper. I had them cut some for me and it was really crooked and ragged. When I checked out, they informed me about the "cutting fee" I about died. Anyway, I have never used them, but took some more paper to a print shop, and they did an excellent job and didn't charge me a penny. They just said to remember them if I needed any printing needs. BTW, I love your shopping lists. I think the laminating really ads to it, plus the elastic closure is genius.
I love your crafts & the way you explain everything. But I have to watch your videos during the day because your voice is so sweet, calming & soothing, if I watch at night, I always fall asleep. You would be great at storytelling on one of those sleep apps for people with insomnia. 😂😂😂 Your voice is just incredible to me!
love these! I use clear contact paper. Also my office max charge $2 per cut and cut 5 legal notepads at one time and I don't have to buy the notepads there. I usually get them at Walmart (cheaper than Dollar Tree) in the 5 pks and then take them to office max to be cut. I buy jr legal notepads to be cut in half.
Hi Deanna. These pads are beautiful! I love this idea. What wonderful gifts these would make. Great idea to laminate them. I can not believe how much Staples charges to cut them, no way! Thanks for sharing I will definitely make these ❤️
Perfect! This video is just what I needed. I made a bunch of these for my last show but they were quite flimsy. I will definitely be laminating them now! Here is a tip--mine were for fall and I got some ADORABLE fall lists at the dollar spot at Target, for those of you who cannot find something similar at Staples. Hopefully Target will have some Christmas ones in the dollar spot soon! They were only a dollar! How much will you charge for these? Thanks so much for sharing, your videos are the best!
Hey Deanna, I went to staples once and left there saying "oh *****NO!" So... I bought a Guillotine paper cutter, the heavy duty kind that holds your paper down and can cut a ream of paper at once. I paid about $75 on ebay, was worth every penny. I can cut a stack of those notebooks I get from walmart like butter. I can also make my own notepads. I use- books by hand Ph neutral PVA adhesive- I got from amazon for $8 and a little goes a loooong ways. if you want more info I'll happily give it to you. You can do so much with those two things. Anyways, I love all your ideas, good luck with your fair!! Lisa

The store I got mine from no longer has them but this one looks exactly like mine. I didn't spend very long looking for cheap price but they seem to have gone up a little. If anyone gets one of these cutters PLEASE be extremely careful because the blades are so sharp, I bet it could take your finger off. but I do love it and I use it a lot!
These are so cute. I think everyone could use these. They're so handy. I have a question. I am new to scoring cardstock, etc..... How do you figure out where to score your paper or cards for projects? Are there any videos that explain this to you? I'm not that great at math, LOL!
I gave up on the pockets from Target for now. I have looked and looked. One guy there didn't know what I was talking about, but then another time I found a lady that told me they were seasonal and only get them with their school supplies in September. I will make sure I check it out then and stock up.
Your paper crafts bring me joy!!!🧚
Love these! Can’t wait to try them❤️
Score is right. Touchdown and field goal! Your projects always go the extra mile. Thank you
Lol glad your enjoying!

Staples is crazy expensive!
Adorable
love the notebooks thank you so much for the tutorial I'm off to make some now ;0)
Yay!!
Hi! Loved the tutorial. What laminating machine did you use? I’ve been thinking of purchasing one.
Nice all you need to do is add a pencil or pen clip to the edge. TFS Cheryl
Just an FYI, if you cut off the excess before you laminate, you will have pieces to use to make your pocket with and not have to waste other pouches 😊
Love your tutorials!!! How much will you charge for these?

I am going to tell my husband I want a laminator for Christmas 😁☺️
If you don't have a laminator you could make your cover with a cereal box.
What a cute idea & fairly easy to do once you have it figured out. HOW MUCH DID YOU CHARGE FOR THEM AT YOUR CRAFT FAIR?
3$
I'm going to ask for a laminator for Christmas!

I just position the paper around the project and just fold and then I measure it

Hi! I finally purchased a laminator. Did you use 5mm or 3 mm?
Yay! 5mm
Do you have trouble with the Target pocket sticking to the laminate?
No☹️
Those laminate sheets if you don’t have the machines can you use an iron to seal it?????
I don’t think so but they do make them self adhesive!
How do you come with these tdeaa
I think about ideas all the time. Lol
