The thing about a market crash or collapse is that our losses are only realized when we sell and if we can learn the restraint and patience required, we can instead, continue to invest during the crash and when we come out on the other side (however long that may take), we will turn be well ahead.
When the stock market is in a bubble, you can prepare by being ready in case the market actually does start to collapse, and if it does, we will be ready to pounce on the opportunity. Not only that, but we will be in a position that keeps us away from any trouble
The most important thing to do in any market crash or when we are in a stock market bubble is to not panic. When we panic, we make bad decisions and the likelihood of buying back in at the right time is slim to none. So your best bet is to just hold and not try to time the market
Fidelity has done an amazing study about trying to time the market. And their research showed that being out of the market even just for its best 10 days over an extended period GREATLY diminishes your total gains. Missing out on the best 50 days is a complete disaster. So instead of timing the market, just hold tight, be resolute and instead, invest regularly throughout the decline.
Additionally, it is super important to ensure you are always well diversified in your investments because it will minimise your losses. The less diversified we are, the more we live and die by the sword. But if we are well diversified within out portfolio, other investments can perform admirably while others are not - and that will stem some of the bleeding.
Another really important way to stay ahead in difficult market conditions is to ensure that you always have 3-6 months worth of cash saved in the bank for a rainy day. You never know when you will have sudden, unforeseen expenses and if you can't afford to live within pulling your investments from the market, then you might find yourself in some trouble. Instead, keep an emergency fund of 3-6 months saved to use if you need it, without dipping into your investments.

Another awesome video mate, I needed this after the past 2 weeks in the market.
This is the first correction I’ve seen and it has been hard to ignore the negative volatility when I dropped cash into 2 of my ETFs (NDQ and ASIA) at their peak last Tuesday and they have dropped every day since.
I just keep telling myself to ignore the prices as I won’t be selling for 15-20 years anyway.

Thanks mate, and yeah, it’s really tough to ignore those emotions and instincts, but doing it will serve you well. ASIA and NDQ will bounce back, especially if you’re looking to invest long term. I was about to pour some money into both this week, but am now holding off just for a little while, but long term I think they’re both great investments!

While I register for some ads pages they say we can't find ads in your country. Is there any way to make money online? Thank you.
Welcome back space lover! Unfortunately I don’t know much about making money online as it’s not really an Avenue I have pursued outside of CZcams. As for Albania, I’m not sure how you can get around that other than finding different websites. Hopefully someday soon I’ll look into ways to make money online. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!
