- Why do half the Welsh teams play in England? Why were Welsh teams banned from playing home games in Wales? All these questions that you never asked yourself will be answered in this video! Today we look at the bizarre Welsh Premier League.
This relaxing ASMR video contains the history of the Welsh Premier League or Cymru Premier on a tablet and using a stylus pointer, speaking in a soft spoken deep male voice to help you sleep.

17:56 would love some more football manager content!
I keep meaning to do it but I start a new game, get bored and then start another new one. I never stay on the same save long enough to do a video on it :/
obviously it may be different for the Cymru North & South, but in England for the National League North & South (and below as it is regionalised) at the start of each season some teams may have to move horizontally across the pyramid (so from national north to national south) depending on who got promoted & relegated. This works very well over here and I'd imagine that the Cymru north & south would have adopted a similar format.
Ahhhh interesting! I have looked at the teams in the leagues and sometimes thought, that isn't in the "North" of England. That must be why!
@@WelshASMR82Footballmy local team bishops stortford are a prime example, they are 25 miles outside london yet play in the vanarama north, which unfortunately means that their expenses are much higher and they haven’t been able to compete and will likely go down and lose out on the extra revenue
Would love a video explaining how the MLS works, it’s just never made sense to me when it comes to transfers
I just responded to another comment saying that I still don't get the MLS either... maybe this is how I learn. Great idea, thx!
Loved this format ❤
Thx so much!
super interesting vid! always looking for new leagues to follow :)
You can watch matches on S4C in the UK and their CZcams channel S4C chwaraeon with highlights on a programme /CZcams video weekly called Sgorio. So happy that you night watch the league 😁
Love these videos and loved an insight into the Welsh Leagues. As a Gooner, I would love for you to do a video on Arsenal FC please.
Another great video. Thank you for the wonderful and relaxing content. Could you do a video on the Colombian league Primera A?
I'll add it to the list!
Loved the video. Actually following Airbus UK in their Cymru North campaign to bounce back to Premier. Being from Swansea, which team do you follow? Penybont? Cheers from Colombia.
A Colombian supporting Airbus?? That's amazing! Well, the Cymru Premier doesn't have a Swansea team, although the 3rd league has my old Uni, Swansea University in it. I support Haverfordwest in the sense that I enjoyed their run to qualify for the UEFA Conference League last summer and enjoyed their style of play. Bridgend/Penybont would be my closest team and I used to work in the town too, so I should support them, really.
Boys, you've been summoned to make this video do better than Welshy here expects :) if only to later smack him with the "have some faith in your country welshy"... if you love him, do it for him, if you hate him, do it to prove him wrong!!! I believe in ya!!
I am shocked it has done much better than I expected so far. You guys are weirdos watching random videos about the Welsh Premier :)
Champions league format is changing next year and im still confused on it. Maybe a history video on the ucl and abt the new format?? Maybe the super league too!
Ah, ok! I have researched this because I was also unsure. Will do! Thx, Ryan!
Football manager video soon?
I hope so. In the middle of moving house and I don't know where my mics and laptop are at the minute... 😎
Had a great FM save with Airbus last year, truthfully managing to overcome TNS was more satisfying than winning the UCL (with my revolutionary 32122) 😂
The same Airbus that actually finished the season with minus points?!?! You are the new Xabi Alonso!!
@@WelshASMR82Football That was the reasoning behind choosing them! Safe to say the first few seasons weren’t quite as successful 😂
A offside rule video would be funny and show close calls on clips like a quiz type video, or just reading through fifa handbook
I like this idea! Thx!
do a barnsley video!!! my hometown
Boarder towns video would be amazing
would you be able to do a video on merthyr tydfil & merthyr town?
I'll try!
Hey man, loved the Video from an Abertown supporter
I'm somewhat optamistic that we survive the relegation battle, thats sort of how Abertown runs haha, do rubbish in the main phase of the league and bring it back in the second phase
I really like Aber as a place, it was my 2nd choice for Uni and I have visited a few times. I would love them to get into Europe... :(
@@WelshASMR82Football it would be great to see them get into Europe but alas, management changes and sponsorship changes have completely messed the team up, honestly I think a restructure is in order even if in the short term it means they'll be relegated.
where in the english league system do you think the new saints would be if they played in england?
Hmmmmm, good question. Probably Southern Premier but maybe League Two. That's only because the English leagues are incredibly good. Most teams in the Championship could beat the top teams across Europe. I think they'd be at the bottom of the Scottish Premier and probably top 3 in Ireland.
If there was a British league (wales England Scotland) would there be any welsh or Scottish teams in the PL or championship?
Awesome video idea!! In short, defo yes. Celtic and Rangers would be bottom end of the Prem and Heart/Hibs/Dundee/Aberdeen would be Championship. But after a while Celtic & Rangers might be better after a few years of the increased funds. £100 million a year can go a long way! They would also be two of the top supported teams with the biggest stadiums. It would be fun, I think.
More GeoGuessr videos please😢
Around the grounds please
They performed a survey of Welsh fans in Qatar what their favourite sport is 😂 slightly skew the results surely!
Oh! Well that survey was a waste of time then!! Sounds like a very "Welsh" thing to do! lol
Thoughts on Xavi and klopp leaving there clubs
Leaving for completely different reasons too. Great suggestion, thx!
do a Championship.
MLS
I would have to do some research for this because even I still don't understand it! lol! I'll defo add it to the list!
tns ruined that league
Totally! It would be more competitive without them :(
