- Bill for Michigan had a Bigfoot encounter near the town of Mena in Arkansas when he was just a teenager. Bill was tending to his Aunt's farm while she was sick in the hospital! He went to explore trails in the national forest bordering the property and found many startling signs that something was not right. He found a buck in the Y of a tree, concerned loggers who had equipment destroyed. He also came across strange tree breaks and growling/chattering while spending time in the area. After having many large trees collapse on top of him he was saved by the Sasquatch in the area.

Hi, I live 20 mile north of Mena Arkansas. We have a group of these creatures living on the abandoned farm next to us . These Mountains and woods are full of them. Yet you may never see them. I am afraid of them but they haven't appeared on our farm during the day. I believe we are going to be shocked at their ways of living and respect for one another. Now that's so amazing, I'm of Cherokee decent, and our story is that they'll reveal themselves near the end of the world. My relationship with them are more friendly, but the adults are more territorial. When they growl or whatever you can call it,you feel it in your body!

This creature saved you life with compassion. I grew up in Africa, wad chased by lion. Cobra and elephant...not any of them hurt me. Just protecting young or wanted me out of their territory. Hearing this for the second time. It's an incredible story. Sasquatch was a God send. This was a very traumatic experience and you can sense his fear and pain. Most YT vids have become to long lately. I have a lot of channels that I watch , and there is simply not enough time in th day for videos this long. I didn't listen to the whole thing. I only mention this cause I think it will help your channel to keep the vids around 30 minutes or less.. JMHO . This story could have conveyed the same info without his describing every step of the way.

My friend if 50 years, since childhood, was visiting his grandparents in Arkansas close to 50 years ago. While out playing around in nature, he saw a white Sasquatch. I don’t know the exact area. He is definitely telling the truth, as well.

I moved here to Arkansas from Houston in the mid-1980s, and I got an announcer job at a major radio station in Fayetteville. Not long after that I rèad an account in a book of Ozark legends of a pure white sasquatch that used to be seen in the woods around Fayetteville, Washington County, northwest Arkansas.

I saw a white one in 2016 no obstruction. 300 yards across the water. Not a part of my world and didn't even know they "came" in white. Went to bigfoot museum (local) and they had numerous handwritten reports of a white one in that area for years. I looked at my husband and said OMG I told you!

Did you hear it on SC? I heard one on there that was almost the same it it took place in another state I think. And the beginning was different but it’s been a while I can’t be 100% sure. But it was the same story line of a guy falling off timbered logs and saved by Sasquatch. It might have been Bill. But if my memory serves me it was a little different in the beginning and it was a different state.

My friend and my self live in hot springs Arkansas..every Saturday night..early Sunday morning.we would travel to magnolia arkansas.and hunt Sunday .well this one particular time we got there a couple of hours early so we decided to go ride the roads. .I don't drink and my friend doesso we decided he would drive and I would shoot if we saw anything...we road around till we got lost some where in the woods in louisiana.they were clay rock roads and at the end of every road there was a green dumpster so first dumpster we turned right went to the end whee the next dumpster was .and on the right hand side of the road stood in a circle close together 15-20 spike deer well I was supposed to get out and shoot one and when I was getting out of truck I fired off one barrel of the 22 mag deringer that I was. Using and scared them off so by the way I don't shoot illegal deer. So we went on down to the next dumpster and we turned right ..and in the road stood the biggest deer I ever seen antlers that looked like the top of tree in the winter lots lots points on his head he just looked at us as he crossed .we weren't any threat to him antlers lit up so we decide to go on down the road at the the next tur we made was a left on the next road and when we did across the road walked about a7-8 ft tall arms down passed his knees harry body but a man's face not alot of hair on his face .the hair color was redfish brown. We just kept driving. We were lost and getting close to daylight so we headed for thought camp was hunted then went back to life as it was my friend and I didn't say anything about it to each other for about two weeks.then I was holding some scaffolding for him he had some high work to do ..then I said hey GARY remember that night we got .lost .he turned and looked down at me and said yea I seen him too but don't tell anyone that they would think I was really a nut..but no matter what anyone says I know that big foot of some sort ....resides in LOGOLY STATE PARK.THIS STORY IS A TRUE SIGHTINGÇ
This event occurred just east of Acorn, right outside Mena. I checked the BFRO database and they had one event listed in same area from 1996. There have been dozens of sightings in the same area. BFRO database only scratches the surface. Great story.

I was wondering that, too! I bet the aunt never could have guessed that would happen to her nephew. I hope her recovery went smoothly. I would be curious to know if the family told her right away as it may have hindered her own recovery due to extreme worry/concern, and (perceived, but, untrue) guilt. 🤔

When I healed up, I would have made the trek back to where that Bigfoot saved me and brought him Vegetables and Fruit to show my appreciation for what he had done, and hey you never know perhaps over time a friendship could have developed.

U are probably young so it’s not your fault, but in the 70’s, you only had 3 tv changes and no one was talking about BF. He was in shock for many months as well as fear lives inside for many years if not forever. No one was openly talking about bf and if u did your were called a liar and crazy. This attitude has lasted until around 2013. Wes Germer at Sasquatch Chronicles his pod cast is what opened the door for folks to come out of the closet and tell their stories. No one knew anything hint about these creatures much less to go feed them as a thanks please know how things were much different in the 70’s!!
I quite doubt that he’d have gotten over the trauma enough to wish to develop a friendship with one. Remember his fear two years later when out hunting & hiding/sleeping in the SUV. His work with a psychiatrist to try to understand his trauma years later. Most people have a deep terror response to encounters.
I would like to think I would have done what you suggest, but I didn't see - or have any interaction with - the Sasquatch. What I would have actually done after witnessing such a creature, I can not say with 100% confidence until it actually happens to me....
What an amazing experience. You were so very lucky that the Sasquatch was a compassionate one. I am sorry of all the mental aftermath from this experience.

I live in RINCON GA and I have come across 1 actual Big Foot off of Rt.21. I my roommate and my cousin was coming from downtown SAVANAH setting at a red light and just there it was just standing there in the tree line and it was about 8.5 Ft tall black hair when it realized it had been seen it ducked down behind some small bushes but the bushes had shed its leaves do we could all still very clearly see it then it just took of back in to the woods behind it. We just was stunned and we were just amazed at what we had just witnessed. The light turned green and we went in silence till we pulled in my driveway. The bad thing is it was only 3 minutes from my house. Very scary and just shocked. My name is Jela and this was a true BIG FOOT sighting.

Ya know, of all the stories that I have heard about Sasquatch and the way that they tend to interact with people, I bet I could count on one hand the number of times that a squatch actually went out of their way to try and help someone. And that got me thinking about that scar on that bigfoot's face. What if in his younger years that he was severely injured and a human came to its rescue and helped it somehow, and that thing just never forgot.
It is refreshing to hear stories of encounters with these benevolent forest creatures interacting with mankind in a helpful and caring nature. God bless Sasquatch, may he always stay safe🙏🏼 Angels come in many forms

I never even thought of that, how people/professionals can be enlightened on the subject through experiencing others being hypnotized. I’d like to see that happen more often. The book Journey of Souls, case studies of life between lives by Dr. Michael Newton, is a great book. Dr. Newton is one such shrink who was schooled by his hypnosis subjects about subjects he had zero knowledge of or interest in.

I met someone by the name Bill the Artist who lives in SE Missouri in the forest. He told me about a Sasquatch story. Something about cameras that were set up. That were torn down and he found 7 dead deer stacked one on top of the other. Very odd.

I had an up close encounter in the mid 80's at the other end of this same forest near Perryville Arkansas. Myself and several other people saw it within 10 ft. It smelled really musty and was about 9ft tall. It ran so fast and busted through small trees and ran down a creek bed back into the Ouachita National Forest.

Miguel your follow-up questions brought out details and gave depth to every aspect of the encounter. Like for example, why people would wait decades to tell someone their story; what lasting effects on the human psychy a person has to deal with after encountering a huge unknown creature; that loggers in Arkansas know all about their existence but won't talk about it; we have a clear testimony here that a
sasquatch unquestionably saved a man's life! Pretty awesome.

I agree Rebecca, there were so many details in the story that line up with what people have found and questioned very hard. Such as the deer being up in the tree. Many people say its Mnt.Lions but in this case he was in a sasquatch area and seen the creature with his own eyes. It does sound like loggers know about this and are told to keep quiet. It makes sense..if you loose your logging job in a very small town what else would you do for work? Its not worth it to them and they are afraid to even talk. Thank you
My personal belief is, just like you and I can discern someone's character when you first meet them, Big Foot can do the same thing. I think that's why this one decided to help him instead of letting him die. It could be that people like you and Bill who have actually seen one, can become advocates for them when they finally are recognized by the scientific world.
I hope the S are never recognized in ‘scientific world’. Can you imagine the torture the ‘scientists’ would administer?!

I remember hearing this story on HowtoHunt but it wasn't as engaging and breathtaking as this. When Bill was describing the blood loss situation I was woozy and feeling sick just thinking about it. Bill was built different because that is not something I would be able to talk about let alone live through.
I agree that they are not demons. They help people and harm people just like us. They are stuck here on Earth just like us.
I want to believe that too, but the fact that over hundreds of years and credible sightings all across the world and not a single dead body, or even any other species evidence. With a lot of the light of the UFO world and even some of the credible ppl talking about interdimensional traveling, I think that they are multidimensional. Somehow they use ours for resources and are able to slip back to another easily. Don’t believe they are demons or angels or any of that. But obviously who really knows

I pulled in to Mena Arkansas one night and spent the night. This Eastern side of Oklahoma and this area of Arkansas is packed full with Bigfoot. I heard a DNR guy say In this area of Oklahoma, they had 233 reported sightings within 3 months. Good job, Miguel, you do a fantastic job. Great encounter story from Bill, absolutely amazing.

I've heard this man's encounter somewhere else. I'm not sure if it was on dixie cryptid... This man's story is exactly like he told it before. Nothing has changed and he's telling the truth.
I've heard this story before, or one extremely similar, and it's still my top 3 encounter story. So unique and powerful. These aren't dumb apes (looking at you Cliff Barakman), far more human than not.

Mena was my stompin grounds Bill. (Weekends) further west in oklahoma. Same time as you. I moved there in '76. We had one that i perceived was elderly. It lived in an old abandoned depression era cabin. Back then, it was a social taboo to talk about openly. These communities are incredibly tight knit. They know they exist. You just didnt talk about them.
We still don't. I have lived here (Mena) my whole life.

%100 Believable with absolutely No doubt this gentleman never added to the facts to make it seem more incredible then it already was Period....... That is a very long time to carry such things along with you every day and night for all those years . He certainly is tougher then a $2 Dollar Steak for sure ! Thanks Bill for coming forward with this . I worked as a forester in SW Ark. with logging Crews all my career. The sabotage in remote locations from bigfoot is real . Ive seen it . People don't want to talk about it and are tight lipped about this topic for fear of public ridicule. Log piles are dangerous not to be climbed on .I know of a crew that had a man crushed at a log pile . Glad you survived the accident.

Interesting encounter. Reminds me of my encounter in 2004 in Oregon Cascades. We saw 2 of these things fishing or swimming in a side creek. Very large. Very ugly. Very confusing. I have a couple pictures on a old Samsung camera. I should probably get an SD card reader and see if the picture comes up. Few years later found size 18 footprints near a lake in the area. I'm 41 now. I don't go deep in the woods anymore. It's a different world up there.

@@SASQUATCHTHEORY possibly. I'm not a good story teller. But I did have a few interactions with Autumn Williams of Oregon bigfoot in 2004. She did the investigation and I also went out to the area with her and her then bf.
@@SASQUATCHTHEORY at the time I did show her the pictures of the prints and she showed me pictures of a site in Washington near st Helens and absolutely sealed the deal for me.

Wow Wow Wow😮.. What an experience from Bill to go from an peaceful stroll, to finding a buck on a tree, to encountering lumberjacks, and then not having the right turn of events.
Facing unexplained reality of a big foot, and then having the same, save your life! Bill is quite a character very identifiable with the audience. He is funny to where he also says he manages to land himself in trouble situations. At the tail end of the interview we find out somehow he manages to encounter other Cryptids and he didn’t even get into that in this interview. I hope you have them back for a return to follow up on the other experiences he had. Thanks again Miguel, great interview.
