Indeed, but that wouldn't be a very fun compilation, so they had to show some more complex combos.
That also hits from an absurd distance away, making it have a throw loop
I tested that throw and unless it's specific to the CPU it CAN be broken. I had the CPU break it a few times. It still has absurd range and startup, though.
Of all these things the backward Tatsu is the most unsettling...

For the record the reason he needed Dan to jump at 1:04 is because he had to land f+MP as a meaty. If you try to do that against a regularly standing opponent Ryu will just throw them because The Master can throw people by pressing forward and MP or HP in addition to LP+LK. Combined with his crazy throw range this means setting up combos with his command normals isn't straightforward.
Only thing missing from Master Ryu is a random red fireball.

This character is a blast to play. The shin shoryuken super also does more dmg on counter hit. A lot more lol
I had hoped Capcom would add in an additional challenges mode to have as an option to fight NPCs. But, at least they're available somehow.

On the contrary, I am no superhuman. This is just the results of years spent training and focusing my mind on what is important: The fight, and the answers within it. Anyone can become this strong, but few are willing to put in the effort.

he is not, desk is using a mod to play as him. this is a boss version of ryu fought in the Extra Battle mode

I think it's a backwards jump into an hk tatsu. Boss Ryu's air tatsus can just kind of levitate like that depending on the strength.

V Trigger 2, yes. It's in the vid. Ex, no. Doesn't even need it, though.
If this was the Ryu we were given in 5 I would've played the game more. They purposefully made Ryu irrelevant for most of the game.
