This morning this video popped into my head from 4 years ago, Renea. Why, I don't know. But, it did. It was around the time I had found your channel and kept watching video after video of yours. Then, this video of the tour of your home came up. I can remember as I watched it that day thinking, "What a nice lady to give complete, total strangers a tour of her home." Seriously, how many people would be willing to do that?! Your heart and sincerity shined through so brightly and that's when I subscribed. To this day, it's my absolute favorite channel and I have learned so much by watching you. Even simple things like, "Don't add salt to your boiling water until after you've added pasta," echoes in my head every single time I bring water to a boil now. I could go on and on about how much I've learned from you in the kitchen. I didn't have much confidence cooking before finding your channel. But, I certainly do now and give you all the credit for that. And, John cracks me up when he enters the picture from time to time. Both of you are so genuine. Your whole family is genuine. You don't put on airs for one second. We call that, 'what you see is what you get' kind of people here in southern Ohio. And, I really like that. I just wanted to express my deepest appreciation for all that you do. When my family comes to visit, many times they find your videos playing on my TV as they enter the door and they give a chuckle because they know I'm tinkering in the kitchen. Hello YOU have a lovely home. Not to big and not to small. Reminds me of my aunts and my grand mothers house( two different houses) but basically about the same. The house that my dad grew up in was small in the beginning. It was a kitchen living room, a dinning room, one bathroom and two bedrooms. By the 40's or 50's they had built on two more bedrooms because at any given time there were at least 6 kids living at home. My dad's parents had 16 children. lol. Yes big family. I don't know who has the house now because my grand mother died in 1989 and all the children agreed to leave it to my aunt Nancy. She passed away a couple years ago. Great memories. I do use my dryer in the winter because I don't have a convenient place to use drying racks. I will start drying laundry outside soon. I got rid of my microwave years ago and I don't miss it at all. They make food taste wierd and bread products tough. Slow down, warm your food over heat or steam. Take time to smell the roses. Or in this case, your food. And I love that chicken table. I've never seen one of those. Very pretty.
